Maybe the contest should be who can setup the mounting arm first.

Hell may have to get in just so I can play with the arm mount

IF you are considering that tank, you should just jump on this contest and win some prizes. :)

Nein, contests aren't my thing. I wanna do the 20 and take Perchy McPerchface's tank and turn it into a guppy breeding tank to feed the dwarf scorpionfish.

All I got out of my mouth was, "Nano-Reef is having a tank build contest" before I was interrupted with, "NO, you have enough tanks".

Enough tanks, how is that even possible?

Haha!   My tanks are relegated to the basement .  But I'm able to use the plural form of the word tank, so all is good B).... ah compromise...

I covered the bucket with blankets to hopefully keep some heat in. Not sure when we will have power back ?

Wait, it's still off?

Go to Petsmart or Petco and see if you can pick up a battery powered air pump.

And yeah, I know all about the winds in Oklahoma, I've lived in OKC twice.

I was actually there for the ginormous Tornado that devastated the area in '99 or 2000 (can't remember the year).

Saw the sucker with my own eyes standing on the front porch of a friend's house.

Didn't lose anything myself, but worked with several people who did.

Betta will be fine, he'll come to the surface and breath air.

Walmart also has them, if that's more convenient.  In the meantime, pick the rock up out of the water and then swish it around in the water to stir it up and aerate the water.  In theory, you could do this from time to time, instead of buying a backup airstone.

Happy Saturday. We have approximately one week to get the contest started. Hope to see more contestants join in.

Sorry to hear that. When Sandy came by I heated tank water on the gas stove a little at a time to keep the heat in. I also wrapped heat packs around the tank and insulated with styrofoam  sheets and blankets. Not sure how much that helped. For aeration I took some tank water in a gallon water jug. Shook it to aerate and poured it back in.

D battery powered air pumps help.

Cooler temperature is not as bad as heating them which will kill most everything.
