I just got on my PC so I was able to look closer (no I'm not changing my mind, original assessment still stands lol) he has beautiful markings. I'm sorry you're disappointed in his too much white, but he is a good looking fish imo. 2 Quote Link to comment
seabass
Initially I was thinking about Vanilla Ice. However, I would name her Pearl. 2 Quote Link to comment

gena
I would love it regardless, but in Calvin's case, I'd probably want some sort of refund for the pretty extreme difference between the example fish and what he actually got. I would ask for a picture of what they are sending me before they send it too, after seeing how this turned out. 2 Quote Link to comment

Weetabix7
Just fragged my Sexy Peach Galaxy Palys, whoo hoo!!! Gonna let them heal up, feed 'em, and see if I can't get another baby head or two on them. Made a couple small RPE (Red People Eater) frags too. Feels good to get back in the Propagation game!!! 7 Quote Link to comment

Rain24
Oh boy, that was some fish saga! How are you feeling about your fishy now, Weetie? You've already fragged your Sexy Peachies? Wow, that's awesome!!! 1 Quote Link to comment

Wow, that's awesome!!! I actually meant to frag them before this. The fishy, well, it's still a mixed bag, lol. I think I'm ok with it's appearance now, but it's not the smartest eater. I've tried lotsa stuff and I don't think it's gotten much down yet. Gonna get some flake & try that tomorrow, I think. 3 Quote Link to comment

Rain24
Crossing my fingers and hoping fishy eats! Oh, some news - my niece (who is 3) surprised my sister by asking for a fish! (She has no idea I have a tank.) So her new roomie is a betta named "Ariel" even though it's a male. My sister just told her it was a girl fish. LOL. My sister also wanted to use the betta tank as a night light. I had to tell her that fish have to sleep too. Her reply: "What? Get out! Really?" 2 Quote Link to comment

How Do Sharks Swim When Asleep? - R. Aidan Martin Quote Shark do sleep, it seems all the creatures on the planet relax, sleep, even hibernate in same cases. For the shark species who have to swim to keep breathing the theory is that they sleep as couple of other such fish, they relax around half of the body and engage in some instinct mode. It was documented in some cases with the dolphins. However the sharks who sleep on the bottom the questions really is when they sleep? They tend to just lay down for hours during day or night and seem to be more relaxing then sleeping with their eyes open. This is one of the many things we don't know about sharks, and why we should find out. - Jan Husar, Marine Biologist, Ocean Conservation 3 Quote Link to comment
