Thanks :) I'm really loving it, i love how it's so meaty and puffy. I believe it was called Cherry Red Blasto, the one behind it is a Peter Pan Blasto (red skirt with neon lime green center). You got dibs when im fragging, but not sure how yet...lol.

I'll take a cherry red blasto frag too! :D

I'm trying to clear out some of my photography gears to help fund new products development for my acrylics making business. These are part of my eBay business which has been crushed in the recent years due to big competitors from China :(. Your support is greatly appreciated!

If you're looking to get those professional close-up photos of corals for occasional frags sales or to show off but don't want to sell out for a $600+ dedicated macro lens, this is for you!

These Macro Extension Tubes are mounted between your camera body and the lens allowing your standard Canon (or Canon compatible) EF/EF-S mount lenses to get within a few inches to the subject as close as 1 inch, that's right! and the best of all since there no glasses in between these tubes, the image quality and sharpness is as good as your lens is.

For stock lenses such as a 17-55mm or the 50-250mm, the closet you can zoom in is at a distance of at least 1ft to 3ft, it's impossible to get such close up details of the corals that you have seen from the pro guys.

I have 4 types available that are compatible with all Canon EOS body (T3i, T4i, T5i, 7D, 60D, 70D, 5D MK2, MK3, etc.) and EF/EF-S mount lenses.

  1. Aluminium Body, Screw-on Extensions, Metal Mount w/Focus Confirm, Manual Focus/Aperture (shoot wide open on most Canon lenses): $25 (Stock: 11)
  2. High Quality ABS Body, Full Auto-Focus/Aperture Control, Plastic Mount: $65 (Stock: 2)
  3. High Quality ABS Body, Full Auto-Focus/Aperture Control, Metal Mount: $88 (Stock: 3)
  4. Aluminium Body, Full Auto-Focus/Aperture Control, Plastic Mount: $88 (Stock: 3)

All prices included shipping within the US. International shipping available upon request.

Please PM to order. I accept PayPal only.

Below are some example of photos (un-cropped) taken with a 13mm extension tube (model #C2) and a stock Canon 17-55mm STM lens and color corrected in Lightroom 5. These were shots through glass at nearly perpendicular to the corals for best/sharp result.

Hi Mr Reefer

We spoke long time ago. I still have my 12 long up and running. Are you still using your original lighting? And what's your schedule. Also are those cool clear acrylic light holders available for sale?

As always great work!

Glad you still have your 12G running, mine has been doing really well. Still running the same light and my corals have great growth. Running 7 hours 50 white/ 100 blue + 4 hours moon light + 1 hour blue light before sunrise.

You can order the light stands here, I make them to order: http://oceanboxdesigns.com/product/lightmaxx-stands-current-orbit-marinepro-led/

Your welcome. I wish my tank looked like yours. Maybe it's your standing filter with your gear in the back. Any estimate on that?

Martin

Hey Martin,

Believe me, there is a lot of nicer tanks out there but my setup is sort of a keep it simple without compromising the look. The plus side is the SOB sump on the back increased water volume to almost 18 gallons and provide a huge space for refugium, media racks, skimmer, heater, temp probe, etc basically hide all my equipments in the back. I have the ATO in the overflow box as it's the only place with varying water level. I have an improved version of this sump, pm me for a quote.

Damn that sucks...i didn't know flames are jumpers.

Yeah, suck balls, Flame is in the 20L frag tank and Pygmy is in the 12L, I didn't know Pygmy is a jumper either, he never did for over half a year...if any jumpers it would be my purple firefish but looks like he knows better...lol These angels sure have invisible wings...lol

Oh no! No covers on the tanks? So sorry :grouphug:

I put eggcrates on frag tank now, too late but there is still a 6 line in there. I really hate cover look on the tank so still prefer opened top on 12L.

Sorry about your little fishes going carpet surfing :( . Unless I have my hands in the tank, I have the lid on. I would hate to lose my 6 line. But I LOVE the colors on your corals. What kind of settings do you have on your Orbit Marine? I would like to replicate the lighting you have :P

I'm going to throw the 6 line in and see what happen. I have Orbit on 60% white/100% blue for 7 hours, 1 hour blue before sunrise, 3 hours moon light.
