pgrVII Posted August 9, 2015 Author Share Posted August 9, 2015 Ok, so for diy reptarium, I'm gonna do the actual cage 24"x24"x36" not sure what wood type yet,kris and I will go over that tomorrow. Lights will stay the same,fogger and probably a mist king sprayer, the back will be covered with zoo med background foam,with holes cut to put the fogger and mist king spray nozzles,through and covered with vines etc. And have the back drilled to run any cords through so it's clean. The top will be screen with an aluminum support bar to make sure the lights don't sag the screen. The sides will be mesh and the front probably glass to see through and hold humidity better. The bottom will be plumbed possibly with a Slight angle down wards to direct water into a bucket underneath the cage for easy removal and another bucket or tub with fresh water to feed the pump for the misting system. I'll probably tweak the design here and there as I go but that's the overall design 3 Quote Link to comment

They kind of look like the little potato bugs you'd find under rocks as a kid. I like them more than the crickets,they can't jump or climb smooth plastic surfaces. I got a bowl coming designed for them so they can't climb out. I'll keep them in a little plastic critter keeper in the lockable sterilite container so they stay well contained.
