yoshii
Sooo I was looking at DeMartini's beautiful maxi mini carpets, and usually they are too expensive for me, but she's selling some for $25 so I just had to get one! Anyways, if I put it in this tank, would it hurt any livestock? (Besides the goby, I'd have to scratch him off the list) Quote Link to comment
Kazooie
I dunno. Where'd you see them? Quote Link to comment

Kazooie
More like all of them. Quote Link to comment
animalmaster6
Yes there is a huge chance your fish and inverts could get snagged up and eaten by them. Mostly small fish though. I've seen plenty of cases were they've eaten coco worms, crabs, shrimps, etc. Quote Link to comment
yoshii
Hmm ok, thanks AM It will be going in a different tank then Quote Link to comment
yoshii
Now I just have to decided which one Quote Link to comment
animalmaster6
Frag Tank! Though, if they move they can injure corals. Quote Link to comment

yoshii
That's what I'm thinking... Lol there's not really that many corals in there right now anyways, although now that the flatworms in there are going away, I think it will have less coral soon xD Quote Link to comment
animalmaster6
What species of flatworm? Quote Link to comment
yoshii
The bad ones xD I forgot the name, the red/rust colored ones They're going away by themselves though Quote Link to comment
animalmaster6
THey might be Acoel flatworms. They are harmless. Look at the current Flatworm ID Help thread in the ID forum. Those are Acoels. Quote Link to comment
yoshii
It says the clear ones are harmless The red ones are "harmless" too, that is until they take over a tank Quote Link to comment
animalmaster6
I'm ordering a ton of Vanuata live rock for the 125. I ordered about 15-20 LBS for my 12 gallon. I am shocked at how many hitchhikers I got! I'm bound to get plenty of bad ones in a couple hundred LBS of that rock!! Quote Link to comment
yoshii
Lol yeah! But hey, even if you get bad hitchhikers, you get more good ones too! Quote Link to comment
