metrokat
Well, these guys like to fight! I hope they won't find each other in the tank. I think this gargantuan one should be called The CLAW. This one doesn't look so hot, hope it doesn't die And this is the smallest one, should be called peanut. 9 Quote Link to comment

beebes
What are you going to name the second crab? I vote you name it Hope. I like to name things. I have a small turtle bath toy I won at an arcade at a casino, that I promptly named Tortuga Brown. I think so far, that's the best name I've come up with. Hopefully I'll top myself when I have kids someday. 2 Quote Link to comment
metrokat
. Hey Kat would one of these work for a green monti? Like the ORA one u have but 4-5" long and flatter. If not what about a 3-4" birdsnest? P.S. I drew u a beautiful picture in my thread Martin, green monti? It needs to be a branching SPS like a birdsnest, pocillopora, acropora. Here is a picture of Bandit my previous acro crab doing the walk of shame from the Pocillopora to the Green Bird every morning. Bandit's Walk of Shame What are you going to name the second crab? neuwave
They are barely sold, much less sexed when sold, how will you find one? The perks of living in central florida. There is soooo many LFSs here that some will throw them in for free if you buy something else. Also some will let you just have them if your willing to do the work of getting them out of other acro colonies. Or I'll just buy a new mini colony. Always room for more. 3 Quote Link to comment
albertthiel
Don't freaking tempt me. You New Yorkers also have a Neuhaus Chocolates (another favorite of mine at Harrods). P.S. These are over my dining table..... I ordered them from Bklyn Larder with a cheese/cured meat/delicious little things basket. Have you been? Did you happen to notice any decrease in tank temp with the hood off??? I'm cheating, the hood is still on because I intend to close the hood at night (scared that somebody might jump and without the hood I don't have moon lights. As for the temperature, it is about the same. The light has only been on an hour. Quote Link to comment
