Christopher Marks
Haha! Currently stranded in Tomales CA (the middle of nowhere) with a blown front tire on a car we rented through Touro. At least there's wifi! 4 Quote Link to comment

Christopher Marks
We were cruising on highway 1 last night when it blew out, fortunately we're fine and the car is too. We are out here for a wedding today, hopefully we can hitch a ride soon and get it sorted out quickly. We have no cell signal so I'm tethered to wifi until I hear back. This Touro rental has really complicated things The owner of the car was pretty wrekless when he delivered the car to us with severely balding front tires, it could have been much worse. I must run a nutrient rich tank.... I will take a frag now that it is ready! You want 1/2 a polyp or 1/4? Veng LE 12 Quote Link to comment

NYfishies
And then just drill it myself right? Quote Link to comment
metrokat
And then just drill it myself right? The loc-line? It will attach to the loc-line you have - you remove the nozzle and attach the spray bar to the doo-hickee that juts out from the frag tank wall. Drain the tank and remove the frags though because it required a lot of force to get the loc lines to snap together. Heat the end of the spray bar that will snap to the existing loc line in hot water - VERY hot water. Quote Link to comment
NYfishies
I thought the goal was to have holes where the water jets out in all different directions. http://www.marinedepot.com/Loc_Line_1_2_inch_Ball_Socket_Circle_Flow_Assy_1_2_Inch_Loc_Line_Plumbing_Parts-Loc_Line-LL1131-FIFTLLHI-vi.html That whole process sounds scary. Sound like cracked glass! Quote Link to comment

Sound like cracked glass! It comes with the holes. But yes, you could crack the glass - you probably will need the loc-line pliers Quote Link to comment
NYfishies
Eh sounds like it is not worth it. For the next custom build... Quote Link to comment
StinkyBunny
If you soak the Locline in a cup of boiling water, it'll snap right into place. I have it on both sides of the new 50 cube. 1 Quote Link to comment
