Was at a LFS this weekend and he recommended microbubbles to prevent algae build up. He uses a whisper air pump with limewood airstone. He claims the bubbles will lift algae to the surface and down the overflow to be filtered out. I have a whisper air pump lying around and is about to buy some limewood airstones on ebay. I remember you tried this before and was wondering if you found it beneficial and if you are still doing it. Sorry if you posted an update on this that I missed. Quote Link to comment
