Greeting all. Excited to find this group. 5 weeks ago I set up the Lifegard 1.2 G Pico tank. Coraline algae already growing very well by the overflow.

DUUUUUUDE I LOVE IT!!!!! I love the canopy too! I'm going to make a nano/pico gallery with a majority of these tanks.

Awesome man! I’m glad you were able to order your tank! That lid is super nice, huh? I used to have a custom one like that for my 40 made by OctoAquatics. Once I seen this one, I had to put one on order! Should be here in the next couple of weeks. Excited about it! ☺️

Thanks for getting the ball rolling.  My LFS just started carrying these and I am very impressed.  I plan to get a couple of the smaller ones to start as they will be perfect for my smaller killifish.  I have some thoughts for pico reefs as well.  I really like my green barred gobies and they were very active and visible in my 2.5 gallon bowl but they don’t show up well in my IM 10 - I see one of the smaller tanks for them.  The LFS set one up to display an anglerfish - a perfect idea.

Any updates sir? As you've seen, our Club has been running on all cylinders!

Do you have a build thread for this tank ?

Hey guys! I have the 24.09 Gallon and have had it set up for about 4 months now. I have a question if anyone is able to help out!

So my current light setup is (2) Current USA Orbits that are sitting on the rim of the tank, basically 2" above the water. I'm running them at 100% blue and 30% white and only reading 100 PAR at the surface of the water and 40 PAR on the sand bed.... horrible lol. I mean the lights are only keeping the corals alive, not so much growing them other than my slow growing GSP and kenya trees which would grow if you touched a flashlight to it anyways lol.

I'm considering purchasing the Reefbreeder Photon V2+ 24" LED light that has two mounting brackets similar to how I have my 2 current orbits shown above. Since it's going to be wayyyy brighter than my current set up, I'll have to turn it down being that it's so close to the water. Do you think this will be okay? Here's the link to the light i'll be getting if so --> https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/photon-24-v2-reefbreeders.html

Before I get the "buy an AI Prime" and other comments to raise the light above the rim of the tank... I tried but I sit right next to the tank and have to look up to view it since its next to my couch. Anything that hangs on an arm blinds the living s*&t out of me lol. Even tried the diffusers and shades, no go for me. I also don't want to loose the rimless look so a canopy isn't in my future. Thats why I enjoy the lights that sit on the rim of the tank.

@ReefahBarra84, mind telling me how much you paid for your top?  It's the 4.1G size, right?

Not my tank but they definitely look awesome.  I'm going to be getting them for my tanks and some other local friends of mine. They look amazing!

Looks great! Just out of curiosity, Is there some sort of cover for that feed ring area?

Hey, thanks a lot! I ordered this lid after seeing @Dpatron1977 with one! I couldn’t be happier with it. It fits perfect. No cutouts for me, just basic style with an easily removable feed lid. I thought about getting one of the UV reactive feed cups to match my media basket made by RDA, but thought maybe it would crowd up my flow in such a small tank. They do look really cool though.🙂
