awww

Too much work waving nets and shit. I bought a fish trapper.

I was sad to read that cleaner gobies only have a lifespan of 1-2 years. I thought they lived longer :( I love those two little fish.

If I need to ever catch fish again, I'm getting a fish trapper. That shit was not fun.

I caught a 4-5 inch melenarus wrasse with a 6inch tall drinking glass and a handful of pellets in less than 5 minutes. You guys are amateurs.

I love that video :)

What was the last fish you were trying to catch that was hiding on you?

my watchman goby. near the end of the video you can see it zooming over to the other side of the tank and me still looking under the rocks like wtf, where did he go.

I did notice that and it cracked me up. I was thinking "Ben, look over there! He's right there!"

my gobies were the hardest to catch.

Well, I thought guppy bellies were huge, you just changed my mind on that. Big Momma!

HAH! Yeah, she's massive. I actually did some searching online to make sure that was normal. I swear to freaking god she looks like she's going to pop

In cool news, I just witnessed my first RFA spawning event! I looked at my LPS island and a few of the pieces were ticked off. so I looked over and saw one of the RFAs releasing some white cloudy/smoky stuff - definitely didn't look like RFA poop. Then a bunch of other RFAs got all puffy and a couple others started releasing the stuff too. It was pretty cool. Video of the first one I noticed coming up.

At most once I had 3-4 spawning at the same time. Congrats! I hear they can spawn after a major change, and they had a recent change of tank so there ya go!! Maybe you'll be a mama a couple mos down the line.

That would be really cool! I was actually worried considering the ones that were spawning are my new ones. i thought maybe it was a sign they weren't doing well and it was a last ditch effort to reproduce. But they all look healthy and puffy and happy so I'm putting that thought out of my head :)

Once I had what looked like hundreds of betta pellets, everywhere, they were rock flowers babies, premature. Large water change caused it. Where's the video??

I'm waiting for the music to load so you guys don't need to listen to Franklin barking his head off in the background and Iko chomping his food :) For whatever reason, youtube is taking forever.

Yey! I totally needed to see that to feel good again, just knowing I have to move these tanks but soon my flowers will be all together.

There is a guy in my area that can tell which of his RFA's are male and female. IDK if there is a visual way to tell or if it's just because he's spawned them.
