DaveFason
I found most SPS will encrust first with a high flow tank. Then one day a ton of nubs will pop up and that is all she wrote! -Dave 5 Quote Link to comment

RollaJase
I loved my 6015, it was just too powerful for my Cube so eventually upgraded to an MP10. I still have it though, will keep it in storage until I upgrade and need a second pump. Quote Link to comment

SouthFlorida_Tron
Fun project planned for Sunday or Monday, changing out my BRS RODI filters to a new filtration. Changing from BRS' 3 carbon canisters to a 2 carbon, dual DI system: CSPDI System Cartridge Replacement Kit, with Dual SuperDI High Capacity. The pre filters will be down to 0.5um, inlace of BRS' 5micron and .6micron triple carbon. Im looking forward to see how the dual high quality DI yields in regards to reef water quality! The job will be to re plumb the exchange between canisters 2 and 3 attached to the main bracket to have canister 2 run to the membrane instead of through canister 3, and then to combine the standalone DI to run with the 3rd canister. Spectrapure has assured me this will yield the utmost purity for making the best reef water 2 Quote Link to comment

Dramad1
I have these same ro/di filters. They work great but soon need replacing. Quote Link to comment
SouthFlorida_Tron
They don't last very long? Quote Link to comment
Dramad1
??? Im still showing 0 tds but starting to get the color change on the carbon. Plus the water in my area is very hard and full of crap. I run my 90gpd at almost 100 psi and I make about 35 gals a week. I dont know if this has anything to do with the color change. I have heard people going over a year and half with out changing them. Im just going to pick up a replacement kit in The next month or so just so I have it on hand. I still test every 5 gal I make, dont know why I just do? Quote Link to comment
