ArabTanker Posted July 2, 2015 Author Share Posted July 2, 2015 What's up everyone? Little update. First off I went to my first ever Reefapalooza event. It was pretty fun. I also got to meet Mr.Saltwater Tank. He's a pretty big inspiration so that was pretty awesome. I got a few frags. A lot of the stuff there was pretty high end livestock. But I got what I could. This is my favorite piece. Other than that the tank has been on cruise control for a while. I ordered 2 eBay LED fixtures that should be coming in today. I'll update after they're installed. I can't bring myself to spend $400+ on lights man. I just cant. Before I bought them I asked around about them. Saw them on top of 3 beautiful tanks with uncontrollable growth. I think more people should be broke like me and save their money with these non-named lights. Link to comment

ArabTanker Posted July 20, 2015 Author Share Posted July 20, 2015 So I told my friends about my intentions to get a Wartskin Angler a while back. And my 21st birthday was yesterday. This is the cake they surprised me with. They made it themselves.The Frozen reference on the cake is there because, well. Frozen is an awesome movie.It was an amazing surprise. I thought I was just going out with the ladyfriend but she managed to get some of my best friends together without me knowing.She also got me 2 pretty big colonies of some type of green brain and clove polyps. That was also an awesome surprise. After dinner we went to a friend of mines to get some more coral and check out his fish. I ended up coming home with this haul. It includes some zoas, leathers, shrooms, a torch and gsp.I also picked up an adult male melanurus wrasse. Hoping he gets along with everyone including my pistol shrimp pair.Needless to say - Yesterday was awesome and I couldnt have asked for anything more. And I also have the best ladyfriend a guy could ask for. Link to comment
