Haha yea, its neat. They are technically private but the owners and my family have been friends for like 4 generations haha.

The chiton is awesome. I have always liked them since I was little. I think he is getting enough food because he eats any algae that is on the glass.

:flower::happydance:

Thanks, coldwater has always been interesting to me and with the help of the people on here I have been able to keep this tank!

Yea Jim is a neat fish. I would buuuuut no new stuff until winter. So pic updates are kinda pointless haha.

I don't think its pointless but if u dont wanna thats ok. :)

Can Chtons survive in a tropical tank? I am thinking of getting 2 or 3 for my 125 Gallon when i get it.

Also, check out my 12 G tank thread. It's in my sig.

Yes I have seen tropical species at my local fish store. They

usually come in as hitchhikers. Would do a little more research

on them as they may eat coraline algae. Just proceed with caution.

There are some you can buy that are tropical, I have a tiny one that came as a HH, but I plan on buying a couple from reef cleaners.

Oh yeah, I forgot to +1 what he said, usually the little purple ones eat coraline, they only come as hitchhikers but they are really cool.

Do they eat other foods so they can slow down on coralline?
