Came back to a cyano problem, it was hurting a zoa frag. I have a manual removal job to do. Complete testing is also due. Glass clean-up is due but the good news is that I have thousands of tisbe pods. My girlfriend overdosed phyto while I was gone. Canope is now removed. Egg crates are in place and fit perfectly. Hydra's flex arm are in place. The top looks good. Sorry you couldn't kill Bullwinkle this year. I feel that it's awfully hard to overdose phyto. Cyano is likely the result of dosing carbon. I thought cyano was the result of high nitrate? Quote Link to comment

People always point to high nutrients as the cause of cyano; but it's usually organics and/or bacterial imbalances. Cyano is a commonly reported side effect of carbon dosing. 2 Quote Link to comment

Kindanewtothis
I have a bacterial bloom, from what I have read this must be a side effect of the NoPox. My UV is in the sump. Quote Link to comment
seabass
Sounds a lot easier than water changes. The UV should take care of it. But it'll probably take twice as long as before. 1 Quote Link to comment

seabass
Salt creep is a name for the salt buildup around your tank. When bubbles pop, they splash a small bit of saltwater. It doesn't take that long before you'll have a mess. 1 Quote Link to comment
