WC coming up shortly. I cleaned out the filter & scraped the glass yesterday and replaced the media as well.

The forest fire digi garden is finally bouncing back more quickly:

Shrooms look better too:

More WCs will be needed for everything to recover though.

Also, Pickle threw my fascination favia into my yuma, and the poor frag was stung to death. I only realized it was missing from the rock a day too late. 😕

I love my clown, but sometimes....🤦‍♀️

After nearly ~2.5 years of keeping him, I guess it's time to finally say goodbye. 😭

His legs twitch faintly, so he's still semi-alive. I dropped a few drops of iodine in the water initially, because I thought he was struggling to molt. Then I realized it didn't make sense because my hermit molted recently without issue. I checked the dates and that's when I found out Harvey is quite old for a shrimp.

His true age remains unknown because he was wild-caught. Swim free, Harvey. 💦

Aww, I’m so sorry, Snow. 😢

It was a good run. And he was kinda old (?) for a shrimp. Was hoping he'd be around a little while longer, but the circle of life had other plans. 🦐

Shrooms are bouncing back too. Seeing colors returning back to normal - not fully there yet, but soon. 👍

The gold-spotted shroom actually developed *blue dots. Pretty cool, actually. 🥰

It's great seeing everything looking healthy. This tank is so packed with corals. Always impressive!

Thanks, Deb. It still has some ways to go before it bounces back completely. Hoping another 1 or 2 WCs would do the trick.

What is your water testing and dosing schedule like?

I haven't tested my water in months. I only test when there's an issue I cannot resolve through maintenance and WCs.

I dose daily - kH, Mg & Ca. Iodine is *only dosed once a week if I stretch out my WCs to beyond a week. If I change my water weekly, then I skip dosing Iodine altogether. I also dose Vit. C (just one or two drops) per week.
