Lula_Mae
Probably just your tank still settling in. Three weeks, I think you said? Totally normal part of a new tank. Quote Link to comment
Utahpico
It's water from my lfs I will start making my own soon. I started my tank with live sand/ rock and water from my 20g I had running for months. Quote Link to comment

Utahpico
Ya something is causing a bloom, maybe more frequent smaller water changes for now till my system is more mature? We have really hard water where I live even after passing through a ro/di system there is still about 15ppm. Quote Link to comment
JR!
wow cool little tank. ill be lurking Quote Link to comment
Utahpico
Best pump with most flow for Pico reef?? That doesn't run hot and smallest foot print? Quote Link to comment

schgr.cube
Looking pretty good so far, nice scape. Do you have another store you can try water from, just to rule that out? Quote Link to comment
Utahpico
Ya.. I'll start making my own. It's just so cheap paying $3 to fill my 5g jug and it lasts a month or more. Quote Link to comment
Utahpico
Just fed corals/fish food and ginger looking happy 5 Quote Link to comment
Utahpico
Water change. I don't know how much water i change, I just drain it till I'm at the rock. Maintenance has been getting easier as tank matures. 3 Quote Link to comment
Utahpico
not sure what these orange palys/zoas are. They were in rough shape when I got them, they should color up nice in a couple weeks. Already sprouting two new heads $5 mystery. 5 Quote Link to comment
JR!
I don't think I'd care for $5 lol Quote Link to comment
Utahpico
Every time I walk into a lfs I ask to see there cheapest/smallest frags. And that's how my tank will be. Its my neglected coral rehab tank. 3 Quote Link to comment

Utahpico
Got my final additions to the tank. White/brown zoas red zoas and a Duncan coral. I'm adding a hydor pico 160gph pump on tuesday when it gets here and then just strictly weekly water changes/ daily mantenance and letting this tank grow and drags grow into each other. Oh and I hate hate!! Frag plugs. Quote Link to comment
