Berlibee
Hello ! I was introduced to that hobby by my good friend Shaun. At this moment I run a small Pico 20g but I really love Shaun's shallow build. So inspired by his system I've started to build my own 30x30x12. We're thinking to move this year and it would be super hard to move a large tank, so it's going to be a very very very slow updated thread before we move. Then I'll follow with all the updates when finally I would be able to run what I've started. Shaun thanks again! Berlibee
Ohhh..new build man!...Following!.. Thanks, very very slowly hehehe .... Gonna have to be custom I think- I recommend ReefSavvy or Miracles Aquariums. Yes, I haven't found a ready tank as well. The closest is the Deep Blue 24x24x12. These two are very expensive but awesome tanks, we'll see. Thanks ! 1 Quote Link to comment

Berlibee
Finally added the sump today. I've ordered the sump kit from Oceanbox Designs and used a 20g tank from the local pet store. The packaging of the kit was really nice, lot of protection each piece was packaged separately. I've used the GE Silicone 1 to install them, the quality of the kit is really nice I would only like to see maybe a video tutorial with that kit, how to install it. But I've nothing else to add, I've even got red kit color for no additional charge ! Very happy with my choice, just need to clean the glass a little bit more later. Thank you again to Oceanbox Designs, awesome work. Sump added: 6 Quote Link to comment

Berlibee
It was a long way but tank is finally here. http://www.cdaquarium.comprovided an awesome service with super friendly customer support during all the way. If you're planning to work with them in future I would recommend working directly, not like I did through Aqua Lab Aquaria. But working that way have also it's own advantages. Tank is just great, delivered in few days, nice clean seems, clean return holes and glass edges. At the bottom of the tank there is a black layer of hard foam / plastic attached for stability and leveling. I've installed a Synergy Reef Overflow 16" and waiting now for the plumbing parts delivery. I hope I can run it on the weekend ! 5 Quote Link to comment

gus6464
So wait, you got the the tank through ALA but the tank was actually made by CD? I know CD very well as they are local to me. I thought ALA did their tanks in house? 2 Quote Link to comment
