Slowtwitch
Went to the frag swap today. First time at one. Kinda neat. Scored a few decent frags. Didn't get the gorg I wanted. They looked a little sketchy. Surprisingly the worst looking tank there was from PEA. A whole tank of dead looking clams. Cherry Corals had a few nice Euphyllia but nothing I was interested in. Very few sps in the place at all. Some really nice nems but no good deals. Came home with four palys, a gold leptastrea, mystic monti, and four Yumas for under $100 4 Quote Link to comment
Sk8n Reefer
Nice - we have a frag event this coming weekend - Fragtober- mostly local reef shops but a few out of state. The 50's not ready but I might have room for a small Acro in the Nuvo ?Let's see some pics when you get a chance 1 Quote Link to comment
Slowtwitch
Pictures as requested. Sorry they aren't better quality, but I take them with a potato. New acquisitions: Vampires in Drag Orange Rainbow Pot of Gold Leptastrea Yuma rock. Has four shrooms on it. Mystic sunset Raptors Rainbow A few others just cause: Platygyra. Beautiful piece but mean as hell. Have to keep in segregated. This Grandis Paly is larger than most of my acans 7 Quote Link to comment
Sk8n Reefer
Very nice! I like the shape of that Setosa - every frag I see of that coral has a different growth pattern. Lots of good scores and healthy corals? Quote Link to comment

Slowtwitch
Wow sweet tank man! Love the black sand Thanks! Sand is no more. Went bare bottom and put black starboard in there for the effect. Way easier to keep clean. Quote Link to comment
Markburns43
Looks really nice. I like the how the setosa is branching out I have done it just encrusts and spreads horizontally. Lol 1 Quote Link to comment
nickyz
How does having the bare bottom affect your tanks nutrients? did you notice any difference in algae etc? Quote Link to comment
Slowtwitch
How does having the bare bottom affect your tanks nutrients? did you notice any difference in algae etc?Nitrates and phosphate are very low. Very minimal algae growth. In fact I've tried several times to grow macros and have to supplement for them to live. Quote Link to comment
Slowtwitch
Picked up this guy today. Still acclimating but nice color so far. About 3 inches across right now but not stretched out fully yet. Still need to figure out a better camera option than this potato I have. 6 Quote Link to comment
