It's not bad,it's a small patch at the base,but still has some small PE. I'm debating on fragging it or seeing how it does thru the night. Quote Link to comment

Almost like it's starting to RTN,it's got dark spot near the middle of it's body,and it's got some orange slime coming off of it.. YAY.. My birdsnest also isn't looking that great either. It's a custom heatsink,2 NanoBox Reef 11up boards,powered by 2 700mA LDD drivers and a MW 350w power supply,controller by a Storm Controller. Yeah,idk what's wrong. I'm starting to think it may be a bad batch of salt honestly,so do the guys at my LFS. Or it's temp fluctuations. My milli's,other Monti's,and all my other frags are fine... Who knows. They aren't too bad,14 led 2 channels all luxeon's is on $51 the 7 led 1 channel is $21. Why not just spend $20 and grab some violet and lime stars for el-cheapo and wire them up to the LED array? If I do,I'll have to get them from LGB for $10 for 2,and 2-4 so that'd be $20 plus shipping. Then the limes would be like $13 -/+ shipped.. Quote Link to comment

I've had some bad temp swings of about 2-4 degrees the past 3-4 days and it's had a really bad affect on some pieces. The RTN has stopped on the Starburst Monti,thank god and I noticed on the tip of the birdsnest it's lost some tissue but hasn't gotten any worse. On another not,I was at the LFS using some store credit and was talking about wanting to upgrade and they have a Nuvo Fusion 10 gallon for $100,and my girlfriend said she'd go halves on it with me.. Reefkid88 Posted September 1, 2014 Author Share Posted September 1, 2014 Well,I found part of the issue for some of my sps deteriorating on me,my AC50 was being noise so I took the motor out and the impeller shaft was super loose and rusted the hell out.. It's a 10" heat sink,which would leave about 6" on each side of the heat sink. My light is pretty much a Duo without Dave's housings. Do you think that'd work ? Quote Link to comment

I just ordered a white Storm Controller case,1 6' breakout cord from Coralux,1 Luxeon 3up (5k,cyan,25k) 2 Luxeon 2up's (2x RB's),3 430nm Hyper Violets,1 Lime, 2 Luxeon Cool Blues and a 2up Coralux board with a 1000mA LDD to run my blues on.
