DaveFason
I have also been playing with a "super blue" color. 180 for blues and 90 for whites. Gives it a nutty color! -Dave Link to comment

Same with my new snowflake clown. Link to comment
netsecpro
A few tips for people... If you want blue light to be on first Set your white channel on a ramp delay If you want a night light without the moonphase or dedicated channel Set your night value to 1 on the blue channel If you want clouds to pass by with a blue being the main color Set your cloud channel to 1 on the white channel If you like Nano Box like this post -Dave As far as the cloud passing by with blue being the main color, what should we set the blue channel to? Thanks! Link to comment
D Z
I have also been playing with a "super blue" color. 180 for blues and 90 for whites. Gives it a nutty color! -Dave Going by what everyone else is saying, my settings would be pretty blue. For some reason, it does not seem that blue to me, but it is what I like so here are my settings: PWM Day Settings: White Channel: 45, Blue Channel: 140 PWM Night Settings: White Channel: 0, Blue Channel 1 Sunrise/Sunset Mode: Manual Sunrise: 11:00am Sunset: 10:30pm Ramp Time: 180 minutes Ramp delay: 150 minutes for White Cloud frequenzy: 1 Lightning Frequenzy: 3 Here is what it looks like more or less during the ramp time.... And here is what it looks like during the day..... Link to comment
DaveFason
As far as the cloud passing by with blue being the main color, what should we set the blue channel to? Thanks! Leave the blue channel alone. Set the white channel to 1-2 for clouds. This will dim the whites and make it look more blue. Link to comment

Gives it a nutty color! -Dave I matched up my settings to this too. It's not super-super blue, but boy does it make the corals pop. So far this is my favorite setting, as it enhances how my corals look, but also keeps a great color spectrum for the non-fluorescent coloration on my fish. tldr; these settings make fish and coral look great. shaverto
Finally got mine today! So exciting. Right now I'm daytime white: 90 blue: 70 Night is white: 0 blue:0 (might Change to 1) Sunrise is 10:30 sunset is 11:59. I feel like this is. Bit long. Will probably change sunrise to noon or later. Ramp time is 180 with a white delay of 90. I have a question about the delay. My understanding is that when my day begins it will go from 0/0 to 90/70 over three hours, except the whites won't turn on and ramp up until 90 minutes into the ramp up period. Am I correct. Because when I use the "sim" mode my whites and blues are both on, on the lowest setting it looks like at 0%. As I work my way to 100% the blues ramp up first then the whites start to ramp along with them later. And as far as ramping down I assume the same happens in reverse. I'm trying to figure out why my white channel would be on at the very beginning and very end of the cycle. Link to comment
DaveFason
I have found that the sim mode can be a little funny at times. If you have the ramp delay set to the white for 90, you are correct. It will start to come on 90 after the first start of sunrise. -D Link to comment
shaverto
So i waited and watched as the cycle started this morning. Just as in the sim mode both the white and blue came on at 10:30, the blues started their 3 hour ramp, and the whites started their ramp up at 12:00 (90 minute delay). Its not a MASSIVE problem, they are correctly ramping, with the correct delay, but instead of the whites being completely off for the first 90 minutes, they are on, at what looks like the lowest setting. My biggest issues is that the same happens in reverse, and as much as the lowest setting isn't very bright, id like it to be all blues for the last part of the cycle at night, currently the whites stay on low for the last 90 minutes. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Link to comment

Still need to know if the controller needs something else, power supply, usb, etc. A couple of pictures will enlighten me before pull the rigger. Regards, Gustavo The controller comes with it's own power supply, separate from the power supply for the lights. The light is connected to a box that contains the drivers. You plug the light's power into this box. There is another cable coming from this box that has a plug you connect to the controller. You will need two power plugs for it. This is how it is with my tide at least. Link to comment
