Looks good so far man

Thanks man. We (I) have approximately 1,000 projects around the house that are about 1/2 way done...

-This was the Mothers Day present. -Right on time and on budget

What are you going to be using for the cover itself?

It's called "sail cloth". Shipped out of Australia or the UK.....

Anyway, you find them at playgrounds, schools, restaurants. Waterproof/sunproof.

Blue tarp.

Ppffh, camo baby. It's my new duck blind.

Here's the main support structure for the shade cover. The shade cover will be fastened to the house and stretched to the big beam. The block will eventually faced in rock.

Looks great! Must be nice to have a giant backyard. Someday I will too...but not in Cali. I'm going where it actually rains LOL.

Unless your backyard looks like sh it ...like mine. Lawn would quick his profession if he showed up here.

We don't get rain...but it's wet every morning from the beach fog.

Just looks under construction to me :). All I see is land for a giant garden. Looks like you get a lot of shade though.

You got that right......inside, outside, under the house, out back and out front....all under construction.....forever.

Bought the little house full of "potential and charm" in a good neighborhood. I love old crap!

F you, yes the green can is full of brown. The fence panels I threw up against the chain link for temporary privacy. They used to divide the back half of the yard. Previous owner used to park RVs on the far side of the backyard...where the chicken coop and donkeys are. Even has full hookups for power, satellite and for dumping your shit tank. High class hillbilly.

Big covered porch...and an unfinished block wall that will someday be faced with rock.....just like the backyard. :^ )

Of course, I'm not quitting until the wife comes back from wv.
Quit now and surprise her with a few days of being sober. Maybe she will give you a little :).

Yea right.

Hey jack saw you mentioned I wasn't too bad since I get hangovers, I'm bad. Used to be a recovering alcoholic, after a relapse now I'm just an alcoholic again. I used to drink 15-20+ beers everyday, and I mean every day, if I had the flu I was still drinking. That went on for almost 10 years, without a day off. I had the shakes, which are starting to come back, and my liver used to spasm/twitch all the time. I get hangovers now because I haven't been drinking heavily again for very long.

I was just making the topic a little less down. If you're ready to quit.....do it. Not for her...F that. For Chad.

Jack you made your photobucket private :) smart man.
Took your advice....I'm a technical dummy! Glad you liked all my home porn shots though!

What's the story with the donkeys? How did you end up with them? Are they miniature? My neighbor, when I was a kid, had a full sized donkey. It was cool to hear him make that donkey sound. Do yours do that?

Where do you want to move to?

I grew up on 2.5 acres so I know what I'm missing :(

They are miniatures....but they taken dumps all day long like the big guys! They are super good with the kids, very affectionate. They try to come in the house with the kids....one made it in one day. Wife found him in the kitchen.

They bray (Hee-haw) every morning about 5:30 when the coffee machine comes on and the light in the kitchen goes on....breakfast time. Then again when our cars pull into the driveway in the afternoon....dinner time. Or, if you're outside and not paying them attention. They like to play with the dogs....and are super inquisitive. They will get into ANYTHING and play with whatever they find. They will literally play tug-o-war and throw things into the air. Our shoes, empty boxes and the welcome mat seem to be their favorite.

You want them? :)

I like North West....Oregon or Washington.....but I would still want some sun. Colorado seems nice. I could probably be fine with anywhere....as long as there is water ...lake, river, ocean.....and greenery.

Aw man I missed it :( lol

I'll make it up to you, big boy. I have naked pics of Hugo.

This reminds me of the movie Prancer when the reindeer made it into the house . Mini donkeys sound like fun :). We aren't zoned for donkeys here. Chickens, yes. Donkeys, no LOL.

I want to live in a place that is like Indiana summer year round. Where is that? I don't want snow.
