Giga
Congrats on the wee one. Did I read that right that the wife-mobile broke down less than two weeks before the little one arrived? Yikes, that must have been stressful. How many months before this thing gets wet? I like it to be a least filled and running by August. Yeah it was a pretty stressful couple weeks there! Yes, of course .... but, this is even with the standard small size hermits? Like micro sized lol 1 Quote Link to comment
surgicalsense
Not mammoth hermits like yours. Almost as big as my cat Ella. Quote Link to comment

Giga
is Apogon parvulus the smallest reef fish you can get? I'm trying to find a small schooling fish for this tank-I might covernt some gubbies(tretra looking one for a small schooling fish) I'm really strugling with a fish list for this tank Quote Link to comment
seabass
They can be difficult to keep. For that sized tank, I might get 5 Blue Green Reef Chromis (or Black Axil Chromis, which I have). Or maybe a trio like: Blue Gudgeon Dartfish Bartlett's Fairy Anthias Zebra Barred Dartfish 1 Quote Link to comment
Giga
Yeah I don't want to order them because of how hard they are to keep Quote Link to comment
1.0reef
There are dartfish that school and get only around 1 inch, BUT they are very hard to find. 1 Quote Link to comment

I think cardinalfish would fit in perfectly. Quote Link to comment

neuwave
Love the red spots and I have a group of them trying to buy everyone I can find. After begging one of my LFS is getting them in stock I am building a mega school. lol They group with my bigger blue eyed cardinals and love the look. So a group of cardinals would definitely be my vote. 1 Quote Link to comment

zoapaly
New home=new tank So the tank will be inset into the wall- thats what all the contruction is in the finished garage/tank room is for. The tank will be 48x30x12" rimless so about 74 ish gallons. The bonsai you see on the left side will be my black mangrove that I've been growing since my first tank. It will be very modern as there will be little rock with one or two red mangrove growing to the right or left depending where the boomie will be. There will be a lot of negitive space in this and will be lit by all LED'shttp://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/7/tankze.jpg/'> Insperationhttp://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/690/34025807.jpg/'> Linkhttp://reefbuilders.com/2011/01/03/nice-video-depicting-natural-reef-bommies-perfect-aquascaping-inspiration/'>http://reefbuilders.com/2011/01/03/nice-vi...ng-inspiration/ wow love the pic lonely island 1 Quote Link to comment
