Lawnman
I sold a laptop in perfect shape. Packed it in the original box and then in another box. She said once she got the laptop it would not stay connected to the internet unless the charger was plugged in. She said it was 175 dollars to fix. She opened a ebay claim that was escalated to paypal and they gave me the option of 175 to fix it or a full refund. So I went wi the lesser because I did not want the laptop back. Also lost 50 dollars on a printer that the buyer said had a scratch on it. They wanted half there money back so paypal just refunded the 50 out of my account after a few back and fourths. FlCandy
they told me on the phone that they dont use paypal because they charge them to much for the transaction Ha using different excuses! You've gotten lucky then. No she explained how she covers her own butt. Take pics of you packing it, put a label on the item so they can see it, make sure the time stamp etc is on it. Everyone is always out there trying to get something fore free it's your job as the seller to make sure they don't by having all kinds of proof. Bagged milk from Canada actually tastes better.... IDK why but it does. Link to comment

ReefdUp
I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. There are always two sides to every story, and this one is no exception. First, let me start off by saying that the things posted by "Frag Farmer" were inexcusable. I'm not arguing that. This post is in reference to the transaction with "The Frag Farmer." This was my first experience with FF, so I don't have any loyalties to them. I'm the one who ended up with the clam (the clam the OP threatened to sue over...not kidding.) Our club's group buy was going on in the background with FF. I requested the clam several hours before the OP posted on Facebook that the clam was nice but that she didn't have the funds. While the OP was asking questions about the clam...and eventually if FF took PayPal (NOT what type of payment...but specifically PayPal)...my payment was processing. The OP then told FF to hold the clam and she would be there several days later. To my knowledge, FF never promised to hold the clam for her...in fact it said on their page that they do not hold. Eventually I posted that I hoped I got the clam since I sent my payment in (but again, I didn't know if I was the first with payment since they don't hold.) Luckily, I was. That was not me "asking to buy the clam"...that was me just having a conversation on Facebook. Life does not happen 100% solely on Facebook. The OP harrassed FF on how to buy the clam when there was already a transaction going on in the background. FF offered, in order to make two happy customers, to sell one of us the original crocea and to the other a teardrop maxima 50% off (so both clams would be the same price). I have been dying for a teardrop and was going to accept the offer until I saw how the OP was acting toward FF with multiple repeatitive posts. If I owned a business and someone I had never met told me they had no money but to hold something for several days, I highly doubt I would...especially if I was based on selling bulk potentially perishable items. Not to mention having several interested buyers and one with payment on the way. So, I know the OP is upset that she thought she could have something she was not promised, but we need to all step back and realize...this is over a CLAM. Threatening lawsuits over a CLAM is just silly. (I know there are some probably legit claims out there, but this is just about the OP's post.) Move on. There are other clams in the sea. Singlefin
That's a nice clam. I'd sue for that clam ....jk Link to comment
ReefdUp
I fully understand wanting it...it's nice. But this is all ridiculous. Money talks, especially in this economy. I know FF has a bad rep and has upset a lot of people, but I think in this case, what happened is being blown out of proportion in order to further destroy a business. One clam going to one person instead of another when the company offered a very nice replacement does not justify this sort of bashing. I've heard other stories...where if that was the full story...then yes, bash away. But this...ugh...just stop. Link to comment

But I think mine is the best! qft just in case... I dont see how this excuses any behavior on the part of "FF" though Who cares how the OP acted. Even if she was being the biggest ***** in the world a business should NEVER behave like that. Ever. Or anybody really, but that's just my opinion I guess... this is over a CLAM. Threatening lawsuits over a CLAM is just silly. that said, ^this^ couldnt be any more valid /.02 Link to comment
ReefdUp
Sorry, I guess my laziness got things confusing. From what I saw, "The Frag Farmer" ("FF") as a business acted for the most part professionally (frustrated it seemed...but moderately professionally enough.) "Frag Farmer" on the otherhand...I didn't see the post or have anything to do with him...and I don't know what happened behind the scenes. But, it was "The Frag Farmer's" employee, not the actual business. If it was my employee, he'd be gone for not representing the business well. No one deserves the sort of language I saw from the thread here. Link to comment
MikeTR
Personally met Russ and Robert, they are both the owners. I did own an aquaculture business and these guys cost me thousands in lost inventory. Ordered 100 rics, less than 40 survived. Not to mention the thousands in retail value we lost due to the brown jelly. Seriously man, you couldn't even replace 50% of the losses? I'd have gladly absorbed the first 30% of DOA. #### you Russ... cheers! Link to comment

Felicia
I'm not hating, had I known milk came in bags when I was in Canada I would have gone all out. The elementary school I went to in Florida only had milk bags in the cafeteria instead of milk cartons. Link to comment
Dannyloski
This keeps getting better and better. I've seriously read every post. Never bought from them, almost. Will not from now on, unacceptable. As a Business Major in college, the number one lesson is Customer Satisfaction is Number ONE. Link to comment
