Christopher Marks Posted October 14, 2009 If you would like to recommend a community member's nano reef aquarium to be featured in our Monthly Reef Profiles, please post your nomination here. Include the member's name, a link to their aquarium journal thread, a current FTS if possible, and tell us why you nominated them. Aquariums under 40 gallons are preferred, but exceptions are often made. Featured reefs are chosen for a myriad of reasons, there is no one formula for selection. Some of these reasons may include: aquarium maturity, unique livestock, system design, aquascaping, clever DIY builds, good husbandry, minimalism, or system automation. Ideally, nominated aquariums should have current and typically updated members aquarium journal. Please only post nominations here, unrelated discussion or comments may be removed. Thanks! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

got2envy Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) Here are some of my suggestions, these 3 tanks are an inspiration to many Stevie T's RSM JTumbleweeds 40B Lalni's 40B Edited October 18, 2009 by got2envy 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Nemo Niblets Posted November 24, 2009 I second JTumbleweed's 40. Yes! Although he upgraded to a 58 gallon... I think it would be a good idea to wait on his nomination so he can fill up the 58. Then again that really isn't a nano. Quote Share this post Link to post
Jacobnano Posted December 12, 2009 HeyLookItsCaps.... beautiful. +1 I would like to add that to my list as well. Quote Share this post Link to post

lgreen Posted December 20, 2009 (edited) CM, I'd like to nominate dexter1080's 29g biocube for TOTM. It may not fit the typical criteria, but please read this guy's inspirational story and look at what he's been able to do w/ his tank given the challenges life has presented him. This guy is an inspiration to all of us and his story is a reminder of how we should never give up. Many new reefers face challenges entering the hobby, some giving up, and I think seeing Brendon's story and tank on the front page for a month would be encouraging and inspiring to those newer reefers facing challenges in this hobby, as well as everyone else. http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=169965 Edited December 20, 2009 by lgreen 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

p-daddy Posted February 20, 2010 This is always ridiculously tough, but Uhuru's is really unique compared to what most hobbyists choose to stock. He also has a pretty interesting maintenance routine (1.5g water changes every day! that's dedication!) Quote Share this post Link to post
