How have you been? Congrats on graduate school! 🙂 Yeah, a lot has changed in 6 years. I actually learnt a *lot through this forum. It was my main go-to area (still is!) for any advice. And people here are nice. I just wish it'd pick up again like before. I've been okay. Life didn't hurl any lemons at me - instead, it pelted me with watermelons. I'm surviving though. Made it through another a birthday last month! 😄 I'm currently focusing more on my animals. I have several different types - dog, bird (parrot), guinea pigs, turtles/terrapins, FW fish and this SW nanoreeftank. It can get a bit stressful/crazy juggling everything because each type of animal requires different types of care. But I'm making it work somehow! 😛 As for work, been in-and-out of it due to my health issues (which has increased and given more trouble than it's worth). Luckily my family is still there for me. All my RL 'friends' left years ago. I'm still writing though. Tying up some loose bits of my manuscript (fantasy romance novel), and am currently hunting for an agent. 🙂 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix Posted January 13 Author Share Posted January 13 I lost Pinky the clown today. 😭 She sustained a very bad laceration on her side yesterday - I suspect she got spooked overnight and accidently scraped herself against the rocks. She eventually succumbed to it today morning. It was very difficult to get the body out because it was hidden at the back - had to move 2 large & heavy rock pieces, ended up breaking & knocking a few things, then had to scramble to glue all the fallen corals back to their original posts. I feel you with that. I am sorry for Pinky and the health issues. I also have had to have a few major surgeries and gotten some weird diagnosis added to my chart in the last few years. Getting old sucks and I feel like I am aging at light speed. 😪 So happy for your novel! I'll be one of the first to buy it!
