ef4life
That live rock is crazy, I’d be scared to put my hand in that tank with all those crabs and stuff that were on it 😅 1 Quote Link to comment

Tamberav
The first inhabitants will be two stomella snails and at some point I will add the Strombus snails (nano conch). I have a large breeding population in my refugium of these snails. Here is a photo to show how variable and pretty the stomella snails shells can be. Those two guys will be going in the tank! 7 Quote Link to comment

Very cool fish. I wonder how the Atlantic version compares? Are you considering any of the new ones your LFS has? 2 Quote Link to comment

Very cool fish. I wonder how the Atlantic version compares? Are you considering any of the new ones your LFS has? I didn't end up picking up any fish today as they didn't have anything appropriate. The clingfish was huge but neat...and the pixie hawk and such was also too large. The darts are adorable but they require frequent feedings of tiny live food and I work 12 hour shifts. The panda goby is a threat to SPS. I took some pics to share anyways! His black tail and white head is so cool... Hugeee china wrasse...mine is just a spec compared to this one... Another Kuiter's leopard...smaller than mine but looking healthy and eating well....it has been there awhile now. 3 2 Quote Link to comment
SeaFurn
Wow! These are so cool. Too bad they won’t work in your tank. Does your LFS usually get unique fish? Do you have another fish in mind for your tank? 1 Quote Link to comment

I think that is the first time I have seen mini darts anywhere... And they have had these little blue urchin gobies before... Then they get in flaming prawns and such.... I will probably add some green banded gobies....common but wonderous! I added two mushrooms last night as tester corals. They looked happy this morning before I left for work. 8 1 Quote Link to comment

I’ll have to look that up again. I’ve seen a picture of it but don’t remember off the top of my head. My only fish goals right now are to successfully get a ruby dragonet in the completion tank and a leopard in the SCA. Evidently those are large hurdles for me. Quote Link to comment

Reminds me of neon tetras. 🙂 That bi-colored clingfish is pretty unique too. 3 Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
Been working all week but back to my tanks now.....I got after cycle weaksauce gha which I am super happy about. It signals the tank is moving into the next phase and will serve as food for critters. The tester mushrooms are looking happy so today the goby finally got out of the breeder box and into his home. I am going to go pick out a few more snails to add now that there is sufficient food. I am not too sure what setting I have my light on but will check that too. Probably needs to be turned up a little as the last tank it was on was half the depth. 4 1 Quote Link to comment

Tamberav
Been wanting a Saron Shrimp forever and finally got my wish! They were only like 12 bucks so I bought 3 in case of DOA but they all made it. These shrimp need to be a mated pair so I will put only one in here and the others can go live in the sump and frag tank. He kind of matches my goby! They are nocturnal so here is a good photo in case I never get another. Also...bonus! I realized that the bag of water he was in was full of tisbe pods so I am keeping the water even though I normally dump it. It was like a buy one saron shrimp get a bag full of pods secret deal 😛 10 2 Quote Link to comment

Tamberav
So added these guys already as I just have to meet free shipping from Divers Den 😛 The court jester is captive bred and settled instantly. The pictus arrived kind if skinny ..which they always seem to but I purposely made no attempt to remove the after cycle GHA algae and they are both enjoying a salad. I thought the goby would be super reclusive but I can spot him almost all the time. Sometimes even in top if the rock near a cave. The shrimp was out too cleaning the sand. Peek-a-boo! 9 Quote Link to comment

I first saw them from @Snow_Phoenix tank (and the Pictus blenny too) and @WV Reefer has a saron shrimp as well. It's too bad they can only live in mated pairs or I would have gotten a little field of them. 2 Quote Link to comment
