Dave, are you using natural sun in your 8 hour schedule? or do you break it up with morning/midday/evening? If you do not use natural sun could you post the details of the schedule for morning/midday/evening including colors/intensity/and length of each part of the day. thanks! Very nice! DaveFason Posted July 16, 2016 Author Share Posted July 16, 2016 Finally! Had a quick 30 minutes to snap a few photos before heading out on vacation. So what has been going on in the Lagoon? Testing "Mint" Luxeon C for eight weeks No water changes for 5 months No hands in tank for two months Dosings, feedings, etc have all stayed the same Why am I trying this Mint color out? Higher blue peak than Lime Gets rid of any purple hue Still adds a " brightness " without effecting color temp ( Exactly like Lime ) Has some peak below 450nm Still a TON of testing to be done before I would ever switch to this but it is very promising. I have been running nearly zero whites over my tank for eight weeks now. While mixing the blues, royals, cyan, violets with the mint is gives an amazing 14k-20K look. So far my corals have had no effects and only looking for vibrant. With more testing I think the mint will be a winner! People have asked for my schedule so here you go! If so it is just on the cycle tail end of the midday cycle. It looks amazing. I was able to snap a couple for fun. The colors that are coming out are flat out insane.
