The guy needed up selling that frag out from under me, but that's how it goes. I'm headed up to ohio at the moment, tanks on it's own till Monday night. Top off has water, fish were fed heavily and skimmer was cleaned. Fingers crossed...

I prefer Goldstar. :) Most prefer Skyline though, better restaurants. Goldstar is like eating at a truck stop.

Just drained my phones battery reading this whole thread. Very nice job. Amazing pieces you have there as well. Love the ba set up ( question, what kind of tubing is that on the syphon break? Looks awesome and very low profile), plumbing and sump is super clean, very nice! Cant wait to see the remodel in color. I had no idea you had this tank going, where have I been, haha. Following along.

Thanks for stopping in man! It's been a journey, but it it's getting there. The siphon break is rigid airline tubing from amazon, it's worked really well.

I've been wanting to super charge the skimmer. Ive decided I'm going to go with a Bubble Blaster pump, which I'm holding out on finding one used.

I am however, going to order an avast marine swabbie diy kit mid January after I see how things settle out post holidays. Ive been having to wipe out the neck every day or two.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow when I get home of how much has built up after 4 days

LFS was having a killed deal on CUCs, got 20 snails and 10 little hermits for $20. My clean up crew currently consists of 3 hermits and a ton of somatta snails, so these guys aught to take care of the little algae I end up with.

And last but probably the most useful Christmas gift

What's on the rack ;) ?

Nothing new Im afraid, the newer Zs and Ps are growing like... well weeds. Im up to 7 or 8 hornets, and the few newer ones have 4 or 5 babies coming on. Your convict is showing some growth, and has colored up well :D

Its got an irregular shape, one side has a lift to it that catches a wave every now and again. I moved it back, with the split return It seems to be staying in place better

(you can see the irregular shape still)
