I think my favorite part of this is the contrast you've achieved with the overhangs casting shadows on the rocks and sand. Looks sharp! Are we to sit on pins and needles for your coral stocking plans or are you going to give us some hints? :)

Thanks alot aaron. Its going to be a mixed reef nothing crazy. To be honest so far im really happy with the the fish only look.

I love the Zeroedge's. just one thing id worry about is coraline algae on the outside of the tank? Do you think this would be a problem eventually?

Ive had one in the past never had that problem although regular algae on the glass can become an issue with excess nutrients.

Wow just Wow

Thanks alot

Heres a better shot of the canary blenny

Dig'n it
I am glad that you got a ZE. I have seen so many that were just completely lack-luster. If anyone is going to do a ZE aquarium justice, it's you, my friend.

Funny you mention that - I was tempted to say it kind of has a pleasing spartan feel to it and part of me thinks you should just leave it as it is... but that would be sacrilege on this forum. Perhaps something that benefits from the top-down view.. clams, anemones.

I totally agree with you.. i think the scape is strong enough but im sure i would start to miss corals eventually. Clams are a definite

Mr. Microscope

Lovin' the new tank! What's the deal with that fiddler? Are they coral eaters? Very beautiful addition.

I'm also liking your aggressive use of damsels in there. Very daring of you. Good luck!

Thanks alot micro micro. Not that im aware of they mostly sift through sand or mud for their food.

I knew it was a risk as they tend to be jerks..but theyre beautiful and add alot of activity to the tank. IME the only way for it to work long term is if they have tankmates who arent afraid of them or are too large to be concerned.

I honestly think damsels are under rated, some have amazing colours,

I totally agree however their behavior can be really tough to deal with especially the more aggressive species.

from what I under stand fiddlers or sifters, but there still crabs and they get hungry enough they'll pick. But there are made for land dwelling so I really don't think there's a issue with that.

Very very nice, Such a artistic little tank which is expressed through emphasis on minimalism, been a fan of your previous and current tanks.

Done :) . Just the halide was on for these shots. Finally got nitrates down to 0 so I plan to pick up some coral this week.

They are awesome. IIRC their "fangs" are like bee stings to humans!

Note to self: "Don't get one of those suckers."

Have those tillandsias been faring well?
