:happydance: I do have to say he's probably my favorite character right now. Ever since he saved a certain someone from an intense situation, I could see he's a good guy under that tough bad guy persona. Sorry so vague...don't want to give anything away. Hopefully you know the scene I'm talking about :).

I am so addicted to this show omgomgomg We are in the middle of season 3 right now. We watched about 5 episodes over the weekend :).

LOL....I didn't realize he was so fat until Matt (Arkayology) pointed it out :D.

GREAT NEWS!!!!! House appraised even higher than expected :happydance:. Hopefully in 5 years, when we're ready to sell, it will be worth 800k :D.

GoT!!! I need to catch up. Only saw ep1 of season 4. Cali real estate keeps going up and up. My sister is looking to buy in San Mateo and everything is over $600k. Sucks to be buying but awesome for those that already bought a place =).

We bought the house 10 years ago right before it went super crazy prices. It was still way up there though. The house just appraised for $100k more than we paid for it 10 years ago. I hope it just keeps going up and up and up :D.

We need to remodel the bathroom and put in granite counter tops in the kitchen which will help too :).

My mom's house (which I live in) just depreciated 10k....because the pool is worth 10k and we plan to seal it eventually. lol

Mmm well long story short. We drained the pool a while ago because no matter how much chlorine we added to keep it clear of algae, it wouldn't work... I mean there's something wrong with the inner pippings or something because the filter/pump is pretty new so yeah. But having pool sucks imo. Not worth it for maintenance and everything.

Bought the house 13 years ago, and only used the pool for about 2 years of that....pretty waste lol.

Or try UV light in your sump.

BTW there is also conversion kit for saltwater but it is pricey. On the bright side, you can finally get those sharks and rays you always dreamed about ;)

We had an in-ground pool when I was growing up. It is a LOT of work and my mom ended up having it filled in after my father passed away. My older brother and I were already in our twenties and moving out. My little brother was a teenager by then so he wasn't really into swimming and there was no way my mom could maintain the pool nor afford to pay someone to do it. It was sad, but had to be done.

We added everything....still didn't work. Pool eventually became murky green, cloudy everything. We tried everything on the market. lol

That went on for about 1/2 yr. We had pool specialists and cleaners to come evaluate the problems...

LOL I WISH. jk No but really the pool was poorly built and pretty ugly. It wasn't new or anything, like the tiles and all wasn't aligned right, and the styles were crap. lol.

Yup, the 1st 2 years of owning the pool, my brother and I used it because we were young in middle school. When we got in to highschool, we kinda never touched it again. It's pita to keep a pool....not worth it at all unless you're rich, and like to throw frequent parties or something like that.

If you convert it to shark tank, you will be KING in my book. Lol

On the side note, I am on the same page with rest of the gang..... pools are PITA long term.

Yeah, I will never ever get a pool again. Maybe a jacuzzi if I were rich but never a pool. My dream house, which I hope to get within the next 8 years, is a small house with nothing more than 2 bedrooms/baths, front & back yard with nothing but concrete/tiled floors. No trees, grass, or any sort of garden. That's my style lol, super industrial looking.

You guys are right and made me realize we don't really need a pool :D. But we definitely need a jacuzzi .

Just lurking and I saw this. I had to take care of my mom's pool after my dad died and what a learning experience. After all the expensive crap I bought at the pool stores I came across this site. Simply amazing system and wayyyyyyy cheaper. Just regular old chlorine bleach. Your a reefer so you prolly don't mind reading the chemistry and maintenance stuff. Trust me its a life saver. I've converted several people to this system of pool care. Good luck. That is if you fill it back up lol http://www.troublefreepool.com/content/169-TFP-Home-Page

I dig industrial style or anything artistic and odd.

See something like this except no trees in the back/front, no bushes, no rocks, nothing but to cover those floor panels with concrete or tiles.

That's definitely modernism at core. But depending on the climate, I wouldn't mind some naturally shaded area for outdoors.

No, the house was in Texas and she moved to West Virginia and so did I after the Navy to help her out. But she is renting though and I schooled the renters lol. But my uncle has a pool here and I showed him and he loves it.

Oh and here you go Gena and other GoT fans. Sorry not sorry :D

Yeah, I mean this house would probably be around the price range of $250-300k in my neighborhood which isn't bad at all.

A patio connected to the house with no ground legs (Not sure if that's possible LOL) would be cool and a small koi pond underneath it, above ground level. I keep dreaming on.
