The problem is that I'll be leaving Monday and I bet they will all be closed Monday and Sunday... so... that's probably a good thing for my wallet. Link to comment

The brown stuff on the SPS could be dino or other algae. Point is, on SPS algae only grows on dead parts. Your best bet would be to cut those off. Link to comment

Well I broke apart the monti and tried to break it as close to the remaining living part as possible. When breaking it with my fingers I didn't have a lot of control. Sara, I didn't get them I put old tank water in a bucket with a heater and told my roommates to let me know when they get it. I figured they could put it in the bucket so if they are past saving they won't pollute my tank. Anyone think they will still be alive? I'm pulling a Brad and NRing while driving. Hence the brevity. It must be like dog groomers or something You'll have to stop in at least one Florida LFS on your trip. It wouldn't be a pleasure trip without it.
