got2envy
I got a day off soooo time for some new pix! I got a good deal on some smaller gobies this weekend, I added a small Yellow watchman goby..it is the same size as the larger red head goby $6, it was funny to see them gape their mouths at each other at first when they ran into each other lol and also a tiny YCG $4 so I guess my tank is gobies only Did a 2g water change Sunday night..still using natural sea water and topping off with distilled the YWG doesn't like the camera and the larger red head is a camera hog My firefish this is the smaller red head..he also likes to pose and some growth pix for me to look back on GSP Keds Reds has 3 new babies Lalani's Pinks has 5 new babies lalani's greens have 3 new babies Lalani's kick arse zoas..got a good shot of the spreading when the lights just turned on this morning and they were still waking up My hitchikers have 2 new babies and my pinks have colored up and have a bight yellow center, they look awesome under actinics..3 new babies, from 2 to 7 2 on one side and 1 on the other side and the Xenia is on the move Thanks for looking! got2envy
Which ones lol I know the red heads they are the coolest gobies and are not shy at all...I wake up to them staring at me and they eat like pigs..I feed Cyclopeeze and Ocean Nutrition nano fish food I love all gobies! I am kinda happy that it turned into a goby only tank, they all have great personalities, the firefish has finally gotten used to me taking his picture Link to comment
AdriftQuasar
I've always wanted to do a goby only tank, I think it would be pretty cool since there are so many options out there. Link to comment
Lalani
Everything looks great! Wish I could get fish that cheap around here... Oh, and I did warn you that the red-skirted zoas grow REALLY fast, right? Link to comment
got2envy
The best part is that they get along with out any fighting, the reason I had to take out the yellow tail damsel, it was fine alone but was chasing the red head gobies and stressing them out uh oh post #666 this makes #667 Ha! Everything looks great! Wish I could get fish that cheap around here...Oh, and I did warn you that the red-skirted zoas grow REALLY fast, right? So I see! I couldn't believe it when I saw them this morning, I have only had them like 3 weeks right? that is insane...my other ones are def not growing as fast pretty soon Lalani zoas will be everywhere! got2envy
Ok so some changes have taken place for the better I think I pulled the Culerpa Prolifera out, I was having trouble keeping it debris free and it was growing way to fast..I was not going for the refugium look here so out and back to my 40 after I pulled this out my tank looked empty with a sandy middle so I had to figure out what to do.. I pulled out the ricordias, this was a hard decision but $40 I could get some nicer corals that I purchased from my boss when a I helped him break down his 210g a small lobo $20 and a small orange plate $15 for the sand bed(his thread is in the first post for proof of purchase ) I also added the frag of wild blue yonders that I got from my group buy so I will post pix soon I am outta mulah Link to comment

got2envy
Have you tried the AC surface skimmer? I have one on my 40 and it works great! I am using the DFS HOB with surface skimmer on this tank and could not be happier Link to comment
BibleSue
Wow! That really looks great! I like what you have done. For top down shots, you can get or make one of those plastic boxes to put your camera in to take the picture. My hubby made me one. I just have to get my tank moved to I can use it! No head room. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod...mp;pcatid=16821 Link to comment
