I sent this guy over to your thread after he flamed DeMartini for having a spotted Mandarin in her ADA tank. I was trying to get him to read the part about training a Mandarin, but it seems to have just made him mad. You're a very conscientious reefer and I thought he might learn something. I'm at the point in the hobby I dont care enough to even go to zoa id lol. Lani makes me blue, literally. My newest SPS, which I cant believe I found a spot for, Acropora Subulata. It should get some green on it under the MH's, so it will look all pink and greeny, and its a table. A really nice Tort that is growing very fast. Blue cloves Pinkys Another Tort Pink Panthers taking over, so much for the Bam Bam's Peek-A-Boo! Says the ancient neon goby. Link to comment

SeeDemTails Posted June 4, 2009 Author Share Posted June 4, 2009 The natural wave is awesome, I personally like it better than the vortech. It doesnt look as cool but the flow patterns rock. I chopped the nozzle off the middle maxi jet so its open. MJ's impellers can change direction each time the cut on and off. With the wider opening, for one cycle it shoots stright out towards the sps side. For another is shoots behind my red table along the back glass. It does this totally randomly too. Its awesome. Got 10 or so PPE's yesterday from Kylebeano. They are opening and looking great, pics to come. Everything else in the tank is doing awesome as well, massive growth and such. I am also setting up a 28g Ecosystem tank at work with a 10 year old maze brain thats a foot across as the centerpiece, which should be amazing, stay tuned for that! Link to comment

I know it's in a place where it's hard to get a pic, but if you are ever able to, I'd love to see it. Wish I could visit this tank in person. Weetie, I am only 45 min from orlando and I will send you home with a ton of goodies, please have her stop by if you can!!!! The purple wit blue polyps cap is about 4" across now and I have fragged it a few times. It is doing awesome. The aussie delicate is also enormous, and the Nukes are quite the colony these days.
