Snow_Phoenix
A few more random shots: The glass is very dirty and needs to be scraped. The brain coral surprisingly looks better today. The injured half is still shrunken, but the rest of it is puffy. Its resilience surprised me a little. Hoping that the upcoming slew of WCs in the future weeks will aid in its full recovery. The tiny barricade I made around the yumas seems to be working for now, since none of the shrooms were pushed towards the brain last night. 👍 I do still plan on moving those trio of yumas out of this tank though. And just leave that sandbed patch empty so that the brain can spread out more as it heals. 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
A few close ups of the Zoa Garden, including Zoa Ledge #2 which is filling out rather nicely. 😊 I'll be removing that pavona frag away. I hate the obviousness of the frag plug in view (actually not to keen about frag plugs in general). 3 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Hints of yellow and cyan: So we're up to 6 shades of color now: green, red, orange, yellow, blue & cyan. 🥰 2 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Geralt of Nanoreefia. 🦀 Still not sure what sort of hermit he is since he was sold under 'blue legged hermit'. 😅 1 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
I think I finally found out what sort of hermit Geralt is! 👀 The wonders of Google Lens. 😅 3 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
I'm still trying not to giggle everytime I read that Geralt the hermit is officially named 'blue eyed red claw' hermit. I mean, I just call him 'Oi, you!' hermit everytime he messes with my corals. 😅 Anyway, Harvey had a heckler this morning: 😅 Shrimpy was insistent that no one should trample on his leptastrea lawn. 😅 Harvey was pretty chill otherwise: 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Also, some quick coral updates. My tiny shrunken green leopard shroom is still tiny, but no longer browned out and is slowly regaining its original colors: Baby blue discosomas are still growing out: Oneof the red pavona frags is also growing out: 😊 The leptoseris has a tiny fold on one side - the side that used to be in direct contact with the original pavona piece: Chili pepper monti has began encrusting on the rocks, although it is supposed to be the capping variety: 2 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Tiny red fungias are doing well. 😊👍 Yellow bars looking prominent today: Forest fire digi garden (the orange is actually darker and more vivid, but the angle of lighting made the colors a bit duller - sorry about that!) : Tank is due for a WC, but I'm resting today since I WCed 35G of SW from my 60G DT yesterday. So I'll WC the nano either tomorrow or the day after. 👍 Glass is filthy and there's a mild film layer on the surface of the water, but the animals are doing fine for now. 👍 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Did some basic maintenance today, including swapping out the media. Might do a WC either today or tomorrow. 👍 Geralt: Lovin' these new purple tips from the Garf bonsai: Forest fire rhodactis: Pickle found a way to move the yellow yuma past the mini rock barricade. She's insistent that this shroom belongs next to her rainbow brain, and I have to move it back to the yuma pile at least twice a day now. 1 2 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
GSP in the flow: Leptastrea-montipora combo: Green bullseye rhodactis has finally redeveloped the original white streak that it came with: Puffy acans with a new tiny acan head growing out from the side: Quite content with the progress of this reef. I ordered some Reef Snow today since most of my older, non-refridgerated liquid coral food has expired (except for the Reef Roids). I've used Reef Snow in the past with good results. I think the corals in the nano will benefit greatly from it when it arrives. Color retention has been quite good so far, but I'd like to further boost coral growth, if possible. 😊👍 2 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Ended up WCing the tank in the evening. Will take some FTSes once everything adjusts and is happy again. 👍 3 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Hi guys! I took a few FTSes, but the shrooms and toadstool leather weren't fully open, so I'll try to take a better pic tomorrow:- FTS on 20/03/22: 2 2 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
Zoa Garden #2: The Garden is quite packed, but I still see empty spots! 👀 The green leptastrea still has a bald spot from the time it was in contact with the orange one by accident. Not sure if new polyps will grow over the spot, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see! 🤷♀️ 3 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
One last shot of the Zoa Ledge: Rainbow brain is recovering rather quickly! 🥰 The injured area is still pinched, but the rest of the coral is stretched out and responsive towards food. 😊👍 Bicolor lobo: ^Very round and reminds me of a small doughnut. 😅 Well, that's it for now. 👍 4 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
Yellow yuma fitting in nicely with its bubbly comrades: Ironman finally opened up fully today: 😊 Duncan from above: Rhodactis shrooms next to a watermelon discosoma: Merlettis: Spongodes growing slowly! 🥰 3 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Zoa Garden: Devil's Armor palys are now the same size as the metallic nuclear death palys! 😮 Need to prune the Pinwheels a little. They're obscuring the Blue & Purple Hornets. 🤔 Frontview: 3 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Sunny Ds from 2 different angles: Took FTSes again. I think these will be the official FTSes of this month since all corals (except 1 Gold Maul polyp ) were fully open. 🥰 4 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Pickle today. 🥰 One of the red pavona frags is growing out with curls at the edges. 😊 Ultra-green rhodactis shroom: 🥰 GSP swaying in the flow: I absolutely love corals that have a flowy motion to them - it's why I tend to favor LPS in my larger tanks. Throwback to some of the LPS I used to keep in my 60G: 2 Quote Link to comment
