Droy008
I got my ABI Tuna blue bulb in today, as well as a new gooseneck from BRS. Here's how the Jar looks currently with the light on it. 9 Quote Link to comment
seabass
From that angle and with the distortion, it looks like the rock passes right through the glass. Also, did you notice the mouth and chin of the rock creature through the glass? 4 Quote Link to comment
Droy008
Haha I did not notice the rock creature until you pointed it out. As for the rock appearing to be passing through the jar, that was my original idea. It just turned out to be much more difficult to pull off than I had originally thought. 1 Quote Link to comment

Droy008
Well, we have Life! I've taken some of the coral out of my 10g and placed them in various locations in this jar. And as you may have noticed I've also placed a number of plants on the rockscape. Moving forward I'm pretty sure I'm going to make this a softy only jar, but who knows I've been known to change my mind from time to time. And here it is next to my 10g. Well 7 1 Quote Link to comment

Well I think the lushness of the softies will contrast nicely with the sharper, more angular lines of the air plants. 1 Quote Link to comment

Half way through it I realized that 3 items in the cart are not softies. Lol 1 hour ago, gena said: That looks really cool. Nice work putting the scene together. Droy008
So after the weekend I checked the little jar and all parameters were good, except my PH seemed a bit low. I've noticed the jar developing a small amount of film on the water's surface. So I picked up a little air pump to help. Hopefully breaking up the film and adding oxygen will bring the PH up. Little hairy mushroom Nuclear green paly's and a neon green mushroom. Updated FJS. 5 Quote Link to comment
Droy008
Also here's a quick video showing the Jar as it sits. 6 Quote Link to comment
