FlowerMama
Oh wow. Babies are always fun. Love this thread annette Thank You. I try to keep it colorful. Without the folks here I wouldn't have had this thread. They completely made it possible. The spawning part is easy, it's rearing the babies that is difficult. 1 Quote Link to comment

FlowerMama
Hey, same color as the one teeny gave me!! Cool, the price, even better!!! Well, I turned off all pumps making any movement. I counted 30 when it was real still. I then took a pipette and put some oyster feast, then water in shot glass and blew some towards all. Hard to know if they got any as they immediately start folding up. Definitely all different colors. This one is definitely a yellow. 13 Quote Link to comment

FlowerMama
Great! Thanks! All they needed probably was to put some insulation. Better for them to be a little cool then too warm. Quote Link to comment

FlowerMama
Super! Great news. Congrats. Thank You! I admit it's been really hard to be patient. I fee like I've come full circle having gotten here once before for a mere moment in the 60g but I only had half the amount of babies and they were more tiny. So I'm super happy. I'm serious when I say if I can get a few to adulthood I'll be ecstatic. So this is the new part of the journey. The husbandry! And of course while I hopefully find out if I have a few more guys or gals. I have 4 nems that still haven't reached 2 or 2.5". 3 Quote Link to comment
FlowerMama
A short video. And now for more pics from all over the tank!!! The only thing that I need now to round off the tank is a bubble coral on the left and a bright yellow fiji leather for that flat spot/shelf behind the pipe organ. Shown here. Rose coral Hidden Cup corals It's fuzzy however I really wanted to see how close I could get. Welcome green and orange. And more clear... Love this yellow sponge and weird thing how my green crab is truly white. Haven't seen a molt yet out of him. Might make this my phone screensaver. Some leather action Look at Lil' Bit- she's grown so well! I love this light pastel one. Hidden among the macro. Dad? Is that you? 10 Quote Link to comment

FlowerMama
Are you keeping all of them? *cough*cough*wink*wink*nudge*nudge* For now yes. It's really hard to grow babies. I hope that 50% live. Today I checked & there must be closer to 40. I don't know but it seems like the mamas aren't letting them go all at once but a little at a time. I'm afraid it'll be like puppies, I wouldn't want to give any away after I raised them. I really don't know how long it takes to grow them to quarter size. Depends on how you feed 'em I guess. So tiny and so much detail excites me. That blue baby though is mine!!! [ 6 Quote Link to comment
FlowerMama
So, a new pic of me. I stopped dyeing in Feb, cut it in May. Those silvers are for reals!!! Love them. The leathers are doing well. Hidden Cup Corals And more RFAs of course. Looks like it's next to its mama 11 Quote Link to comment

FlowerMama
The babies are so gorgeous! Looking forward to seeing them grow. Your hair looks fantastic! Thanks for the compliment on my hair! I made a mistake last night which means I'm making labels today. I turned off flow & hob filter to get some pics and I accidentally turned off the heat. 68 in tank right now and I'm just bringing it back slowly. So, I turned the heat on at noon as that's when I saw it. The flowers all were extra scrunched up small. But I found a couple babies on rocks opening to the light so I am believing all will be ok. I worry about Lil Bit though, the clam. I hope she makes it. I also wonder that will do to any spawning cycle the flowers were in. The babies look good! Hopefully you can grow some out. I had a bunch also but only a few now............they seem to just disappear over time...... Yeah, I know that's why I'm hoping to be able to keep 'em going. With these when I fed I had their food soaking first with a few drops of Seachem's Fuel so I'm hoping they're stronger and I can sustain them longer. It's not easy to grow the babies out as you know already. The last time I had all disappear in the 60g. They were all tinier than these. 1 Quote Link to comment
