Veng
You say changes, as if you've ever left your scape alone for a week. edit, when you're out of town doesn't count. 1 Quote Link to comment

I've left it alone for a week. Does anybody remember, there was a posted on the forum with an idea for a filter sock that deflected flow and collected detritus so as not to have the crap pummeled by the draining water? Can't find his posts. 1 Quote Link to comment

metrokat
I got a small possum wrasse for the Fluval Spec V today. Cute little brown fish. So I dremelled the lid to make it fit around the MAME skimmer. Worked out well till the temperature started climbing. Can't have a wrasse without a lid but can't have high temperatures either. Going to maybe dremel the lid some more, essentially remove the middle plastic entirely and glue down some netting. I don't know what else to do. 4 Quote Link to comment

But with the Current Orbit light, the space between the lid and the light is a few mm at best. Quote Link to comment
Mirya
Possum wrasse and an adorable clam? /swoon Is your Possum eating? Mine was stubborn about being pods-only, until she succumbed to ich. Quote Link to comment
Boggers
netting or running a cooler would be some of the best answers. You can drill holes in the lid but it would look like dung Quote Link to comment
NanoFever
I made a lid by drilling holes around the whole cut out section and tying on the netting with fishing line for a cleaner finish rather than glue. Quote Link to comment

If you go the netting route, I've got some extra from when I bought the kit from BRS and you're welcome to it. 1 Quote Link to comment
