Man, I feel like getting that 6-7" plate from iconic and just place it in the center of that clown tank and call it a day.....lol, I wish...they said $900 was the lowest for it, originally it was 1k. That plate is really nice in person though, did you see it in that display tank picture from Iconic Reef earlier? Those are really its colors under daylights. Well, thinking about stopping by at Iconic for the 1st time...this week, They just started the grand opening this month so it's a new sexy store and all. Stopped by at Coral Obsessions and Iconic Reef Company. Took pics with my crappy lg phone of IRC because they got quite the goodies....man, I really, REALLY want that $1000 5-6" plate.....pisses me off that the lowest they can do for me is $900...lol. Their collection of un-rounded scolys....sad....but I dig the colors. Too bad this master isn't round... I'm going Age of Aquariums tomorrow because they are like the biggest and bestest lfs in socal. Link to comment

It used to be hella good several years back, they took down like half their saltwater selection the past years apparently...Good thing I went to Reef Raft USA before I went to Ages...and I have to say, was quite impressed with RR USA. Scored a super deal on a scoly there...and it's freakin attached to a live rock...so I guess I'm stuck with that live rock in the tank...lol. Also bought a meat coral, and a red plate. Feeding time. Got too much orange in the tank....Looking for a warpaint now...and some other unique scolys and plates and meats. Link to comment

My tank is small and so I can only go 70% max. The pics you saw earlier, was when the lights just barely turned on at channel a - 0%, channel b - 0%, channel c - 15% and channel d at 35%. It's not too low. 70% blues, 40% violets, 25% reds, 15% whites is the max I can do since these are scolys that require little light, and this tank is a small cube. Link to comment
RollaJase Posted November 2, 2014 Share Posted November 2, 2014 Try brine on the shrooms. I have found them always a pain to feed so I don't unless they are rhodactis shrooms which eat like crazy. Keep your levels stable, the light and flow right and they will throw babies like crazy in no time. If they don't like the flow they move anyway and leave a baby behind. Link to comment
