1.0reef
Semi-fts. Hopefully I see some new goodies tomorrow. The only reason why I bought this meat coral was because of its center pattern. The outer rim pattern is mostly solid orange...which ain't good. Stay tuned for the other tank coming pictures. (the other tank only has a plate coral with 2 mushrooms, and a frostbite clownfish) That's some nice meat there! Ahh crapz. Just bought a goku chalice morph....guess I might have some chalices later on in the lps tank. Local pickup here I come. Man, on a side note...has anyone seen lps1212's tank thread? If not, here it is bros! He's got some real goodies....drool worthy like dnov99's thread...gawd, these people got me jelly every time I look. http://www.reef2reef.com/forums/general-lps-discussion/85013-some-my-gems-large-polyp-stony-have-large-soft-polyps-corals-44.html Yes! Look into getting some other nice Chalices, pink boobies, watermelons, rainbows, maybe a Bahama Mama! Link to comment

Look into getting some other nice Chalices, pink boobies, watermelons, rainbows, maybe a Bahama Mama! Thanks man. Not a big fan of watermelons, bubblegum monster, mummy eye, etc. Definitely a huge fan of sc dynamite, widowmaker chalice and some others out there, but not sure if I will be able attain those since they are crazy expensive. The 1 I just bought was $100 local pickup, so didn't really hurt me. Man, dnov99's chalice collection rapes me hard. Link to comment
benjho
Man, dnov99's rescued chalice...is sick. This is from dnov99's thread, not my coral. http://www.reef2reef.com/forums/large-aquariums-180g/75511-dnov99s-260-gal-eye-candy-thread-5.html To this: Look at dnov99's rainbow meat...drools. http://www.reef2reef.com/forums/large-aquariums-180g/75511-dnov99s-260-gal-eye-candy-thread-4.html Link to comment

Nope. Got so sick of acans. Don't know why... Just in the game for scolys, plates, meats, chalices and mushrooms. Did you see my jawbreaker mushie? Here it is again if you missed that page. Red_Blenny
Yup, that and the green one from Cherry Corals. Are you planning to pick up other LE shrooms? Link to comment

Yeah, I believe I will get a bounce with yellow/orange bubbles some day....I think it will happen early next year. And other different kinds of jawbreakers. Link to comment

And other different kinds of jawbreakers. Bounce is pretty sick IMO but not enough for me to want one... Maybe if there's a mushroom with pink or blue bubbles, then sign me up. And what are the other kinds of Jawbreakers are out there? The only one I can think of is SC Gameover Mushroom. Link to comment

Red_Blenny
Candy Crush maybe, plus Vietnam Jawbreakers. Oh yea those. I guess "Jawbreakers" are mushrooms with one solid color, and the other colors are streaked/spotted when they get bigger???? I remember AquaSD released a bunch of those for like $$$$$$$$$$$$. I'm a fuzzy mushroom guy, so I like my Ricordeas, Rhodactis, and any other mushroom that looks fuzzy, like this one: http://livestock.aquasd.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=64_101&product_id=13109 Or this one: I actually got ahold of a mushroom similar to this one which I'm pretty excited: http://s166.photobucket.com/user/jgonzz/media/jgonzz001/IMG_1283_zps1d454982.jpg.html'> Link to comment
1.0reef
Yeah, lots of nice Yumas and Rhoadactis. Candy Crush mushies look like this: More green and purple, less orange. Here are the Vietnam/Tonga smooth skin Jawbreakers: Here's the Uranium 235/Green Bounce, and the OG Bounce for comparison. Link to comment

There's the orange/green jawbreaker mushroom, and if I bump into a yellow 1 with purple/green on it, I'd try to get it too. Apparently, reef raft usa considers my jawbreaker mushroom as a tye dye..which I thought was weird. I'm pretty cool with reef raft usa's manager Luis. And Iconic Reef company's manager Josh. Went to like 8 lfs today...2-3 of them were crap, not going those 2-3 again. Bought a warpaint double scoly and picked up my goku chalice. I'll post pics in 30min., charging the battery pack from the camera. Candy Crush maybe, plus Vietnam Jawbreakers. Yeah those. Oh yea those. I'm going to try to get a WWC Original Bounce and the New Jersey bounce, exactly those in the last picture. Link to comment
benjho
Ok guys...found a crazy way to take pics....but 1st show you guys when I took pictures when the tank was half full, like a shallow tank style picture taking. When I came back from the road trip today at night...I came to this....scared the crap outta me, I thought they were killing each other and thought I'd lose the master...but...later on, the master scoly puffed back up so whew I moved the button coral (apparently, it's not a meat coral because if it were...it wouldn't have fought with the master scoly, so I concluded that the wholesaler/marine biologist at RAP was right...it's a cynarina/button coral not meat coral) Now, these are shots that I took when the tank was half full (drained the tank half because I was doing water change). Now....this gets crazy...this is what happens when I take pictures of these guys with my right hand helded, corals almost to the surface and camera as well. CRAZY..I didn't know my crappy camera had the ability to take macros like these!!! Sorry guys, this is my most favorite piece in the tanks so I had to take another. New warpaint doubles. Not fully opened yet. My bleeding apple. My new goku chalice. My sexy jawbreaker mushie. My mushroom from cherrycorals. Kinda like the bubonic mushies but cooler pattern. The plate I'm trying to sell off. Link to comment

1.0reef
Awesome stuff man! Also, the difference between the Jawbreaker/Tie dye is the lineage. The Jawbreaker came in to the hobby first in the SF bay area. They can get 5-7 inches after a few years, and have green purple, red, gold, and orange. Then the OG Jawbreaker was sold to a different company where it was called the Tie Dye. After that, a bunch of random look a likes came in being called Tie Dyes. So every true Tie Dye is actually a Jawbreaker, and the rest are random look a likes. Link to comment

Well the guy I bought it from said his mama had purple, yellow, green and red...so I'm hoping mine gets purple when it gets 3-4". I guess it would be considered a jawbreaker then. Man...I want this piece that dnov99 on r2r has....so bad...I will keep a lookout for it. http://www.reef2reef.com/forums/large-aquariums-180g/75511-dnov99s-260-gal-eye-candy-thread-5.html Link to comment

It's funny, back in the days, mushrooms were considered a n00b coral. Nowadays, they're just as hot as chalices. Speaking of chalices, Illu, have you seen Cornbred Rainbow Crush chalice?
