NorthGaHillbilly
Alright, the 24 hour update: The ATI junction box is really well designed, all the wires for the lights are screw connections, with each labeled 1-4. 20141108_082021 by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr the fan plug however was soldered, but 2 min withe the iron and it was put back together. Ran the wire down the arm and I'm good. I wish I had of gone with 1" conduit, as it slightly flexed when I put the light on, but it seems fine. 20141108_202640 by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr Still a mess of wires, but that's why I built it with a separate section for just wiring 20141108_105911 by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr Sump all set up 20141108_105855 by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr The water is still not crystal clear, not sure if I've got micro bubbles or some sort of bloom going on but I'm going to see in the morning and try to get some decent pics 20141108_202626 by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr Also went and got my new cynaria I've beep eyeballing for a while pic was after only an hour in the tank, it aught to look sexy tomorrow 20141108_202723 by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr Link to comment

NorthGaHillbilly
Thanks for all the kind words guys, Im really happy with how the new scape came out, I was thinking it might extend above the water line, but its about 1/8" below the surface. I couldn't be happier with the overflow, it really turned out well. Im still having a hell of a time getting pics under the T5, its blue, but not near as blue as the pictures make it look. I know of a fella locally that is pretty sharp with a camera, Im going to get him to come by and give me the run down on how to take some decent pics, but untill then these will have to do. Not a flashy one, but the pic came out good Untitled by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr Quit taking pictures and FEED ME! Untitled by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr Still cant get a picture that shows how awesome this chalice looks Untitled by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr Green meat is back close to 100% Untitled by North Ga Hillbilly, on Flickr I think the nem is about to split, its been bubbling up strangely. NorthGaHillbilly
how do you liking the deep blue tank is it low iron? They call is opti-pure, but I believe that's there name for low iron, it's defiantly very clear. It's a nice tank, on the 3' tank they use thicker glass than the 24" rimless so I like that. The silicone job is decent, it's bubble free and structurally fine, but kind of sloppy. Some bleed on the glass where there clamps were. But for the price it's hard to beat. Here's a question guys, I have 125 watt jäger heater that should in theory keep the tank up to temp, but it gets pretty cool In the man room and it's not up to snuff. So what's my best option, one bigger heater, another 100 watt not hooked up to the controller? Needing some help on this Link to comment
jedimasterben
I wouldn't trust a heater that wasn't hooked to a controller. Link to comment
