brad908 Posted November 6, 2014 Author Share Posted November 6, 2014 So I added the corals to this tank late Sunday night, then had to go on a business trip and got back late last night. Everything was still alive Have corals and fish coming from ERC today (honestly can't remember the full contents. I know a scoly, wall hammer, purple Firefish, and acan's. Not sure if there is more), Idaho grape from gena, and some zoa's from Justind. Gonna be a busy night, as I want to glue down all the old corals too. If anyone sees a 6bulb 24" ATI fixture for sale, lmk. Want to send it and my old nanobox quad to Dave for a retrofit. Link to comment

hey Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 The AM is a beast of a halide/t5 combo I can't speak for the geissmans build quality though as I have not owned one. Honestly unless you like playing with led light changes halide t5 is all you could ever want in a light. I really feel like the best looks to reefs come from a way less blue lighting but that is just personal preference and I will choose a nice white light for a halide over anything else. Doing 10k halide I like the crisp white during the day, but then like the windex look for the last hour or so at night. I had a tub set up for the past week and couldn't get him out. He is super stressed though, not sure if he's gonna make it my favorite fish. Link to comment
