Sea in the city has them right now. I looked for them, and they were the only ones who had them. I wanted these with the pink lips and red eyes. They also had the white ones with orange stripes. Not sure what they are called. 15% off all fish this week too!

BB are jerks. They're itty bitty but big bullies, Napoleon complex for sure. I've seen this little guy at my LFS attack a pistol shrimp 3 times it's size because it was too close to the snail shell he was hiding in. I've wanted to keep this fish myself, incredible personalities.

They're in Orlando right ? I may have to check it out. How much did you pay for it ? EDIT: looks like they're over by the airport so it's about 10 minutes from my house.

I wonder how many I can keep in my 7 gallon.

Yes they are on lake underhill and gaston foster. It's a small lfs, but they always have very healthy fish. They order from ora and quality marine. Nice clown selection!

I think I paid like 20 bucks after the discount.

Soooo...I want something like a gorg in here. Something long and skinny that can hang out in the back. Maybe a seafan??? I don't know....who knows something about gorgs. Possible keeping them in something this small?

I wonder how many I can keep in this little tank. Are they aggresive? I know some gobys are.

A pair would be so cool!

I kept 5 in a 14g, and 7 in a 16g.

No aggression at all.

ALTHOUGH.... I added the 5 at one time.

The additional 2 were added, when the tank was upgraded.

Which could have been a factor in keeping the peace.

Edit: In regards to Kats reply, My BB's were housed with a cleaner shrimp. No aggression.

Going to do a water change today. I'll post pics after that clears up! The gold torch has doubled in size since the last pic. He is nice and happy, even got some coral frenzy today. I really like gorgs, just have to find one that is photosynthetic. Don't want to be feeding such a small tank all the time.

Cool! I might try to get one more! Plenty of little holes in the rock work.

You should try KP aquatics; they have lots of photosynthetic gorgs and other fun stuff. I especially recommend the yellow frilly sponges from them as they seem to be very hardy and have been doing great in my tank for months even though I don't feed my filter feeders everyday.

are you feeding your torch & rics coral frenzy?

also what is your setting for your tide?

I haven't been spot feeding much. I have never tried spot feeding my rics. In my other tanks I always feed cyclop 1 or 2 times a week. I'm sure they get some of that along with whatever food is in the water column. I also have been adding 1 drop of coral vitalizer a week. Starting next week I will prob start feeding the lps once a week. Figure it can't hurt

My tide is at 90 blues and 30 whites. Everything seems happy and I enjoy the bluer look on this tank.

Here is a pic of the scoly I got yesterday. Going to move around some stuff tom and I'll have some good pics in the tank. I got it for a great price, I didn't pay what is on the glass. I bought the one on the left. Usually not a fan of bleeding apples, but this one has some baby blue splotches that make it look cool. It's also shaped nice.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you get it for?

I paid 130.00 for that and a acan frag. The acan frag is easy 40.00 mini colony. Not bad I think ;)

Great deal, aquasd has a master mini scoly the size of a 50 Cent piece and he was asking 500$. Nice pieces, but expensive. I like the bowerbankis and lobos for a similar look at a fraction of the price. Wish I could drop some coin on a few scolys. Nice pick up

Quick cellphone shot from the morning. Going to bust out the camera when I get home. Got about $180 left in the budget. Have to figure out what else I want :)

Moved a couple things around. What do you guys think? I think a chalice or 2 on the rock, and maybe some gorgs behind the rics. I have to stop being lazy and go to Home Depot. I need some tubing so I can install my lily pipes.

I vote for 1 chalice and 1 cyphastrea, along with 1-2 photosynthetic gorgs. It's funny, when I first saw the pic I said to myself "Where are the lily pipes?"

Yea I'm going to do it this weekend. I've just been lazy :)

I also have been paying a lot of attention to the sps tank. While things are looking good, there is room for improvement. Trying to get that tank perfect has been tough!

One of your main issues is that you're shooting at a downward or right-left tilted angle through the glass and it's causing distortion. That's okay for FTS shots but for shooting a subject inside the tank you have to be mindful about your angle. Focus is a bit off too. If you want ultra clear pics increase your shutter speed, bring the ISO around 100, and keep your lens completely parallel to the glass. You're on the right track! That scoly is sweet btw. :D
