jedimasterben
There isn't a picture per page limit as far as I know, but you're limited to 40 embedded pictures per post. What is it saying when you try to post more? Quote Link to comment
Lalani
I think I figured out the problem... Aha, yep, stupid formatting. Miscellaneous: Ringflash: I'm able to entice the pom pom crab from his crevice with food for a few shots: Ringflash: His nems are looking quite nice: Shooing away a brittle star leg: And this evening there was a rare (for me) full body appearance of a brittle star: On-camera flash: The shots taken with the ringflash were: M ISO 400 f/8.0 1/200 13 Quote Link to comment
FlowerMama
The design on the brittle is more intricate than I thought it would be. veeeery nice. 3 & 4 are my favorites. Love the background and foreground blurryness w/ the focused center. 1 Quote Link to comment
markalot
Great pics! I found a mussel on a rock when I moved things around in my 40 gallon. I thought it was just a shell stuck to a rock till I saw yours in this thread. Pretty cool creature, I can see it's alive, but not sure if it's healthy or not. It's on a rock that was added over a year ago so I suppose it's doing fine. 1 Quote Link to comment

But its still alive and doing alright. You don't see these guys too often in our tanks! Quote Link to comment
Polarcollision
D'aww, thanks you guys! Some gifs for your viewing pleasure These are fantastic! What software are you using, and is it from movie to GIF or image series to GIF? Quote Link to comment
Moolelo
Great camera work. That mussel doesn't seem to be the only thing growing more since the removal of you emerald crab. Quote Link to comment
Lalani
Solid shots yo Thanks! These are fantastic! What software are you using, and is it from movie to GIF or image series to GIF? Photoshop, and images to gif. I stacked all the shots as layers, auto-aligned them, cropped, and then placed all the layers into the timeline as frames, adjusted time between frames, and saved as gif. Great camera work. That mussel doesn't seem to be the only thing growing more since the removal of you emerald crab. The bubble algae? Oh it grows large enough to pick off the rocks manually really easily. 3 Quote Link to comment

Im also interested in the DIY ring flash if you don't mind Here's what mine looks like on the camera: Its top heavy so a little awkward to hold. Here's a guide to one that looks to be a much better design: http://www.diyphotography.net/super-detailed-diy-ring-flash-how-to-video/ 3 Quote Link to comment

Lalani
So a different type of light this time. An Orphek Azurelite that I borrowed from a local reefer. Night shots! Going to try for some better macros with it soon. https://flic.kr/p/mAqjiM'> https://flic.kr/p/mAqjkF'> https://flic.kr/p/mAs3Au'> https://flic.kr/p/mAs3MG'> https://flic.kr/p/mAs3S1'> https://flic.kr/p/mAs3VC'> https://flic.kr/p/mAqjWk'> https://flic.kr/p/mAqKjr'> https://flic.kr/p/mAqkha'> https://flic.kr/p/mAqKzg'> https://flic.kr/p/mAqKPK'> https://flic.kr/p/mAs4Hj'> Thanks for looking! 7 Quote Link to comment
