iadubber
How is the reverse durso working for you? I haven't seen that done very much. I don't have water running through it yet. I am in the process of making more. I had a reverse durso on my last two drilled tanks and they worked great. Link to comment
Travis
Nice. The 29 is a cool tank. Link to comment
iadubber
Really, REALLY upset with myself. When I bought this 29 I looked through every one at Petco to get the best one. I took great care in my process of stripping the silicone, re applying silicone, drilling, and painting it. After the install yesterday I noticed a 2" long scratch right in the middle of the front glass. It's so upsetting to spend the amount of time taking great care and have that scratch now looking me in the face every day! Grrrrrr I'll need to upgrade the return pump. I can barely get the water level to the bottom of the top brace. Looking at a mag 9.5 in the classifieds. I can always tune the flow down if I need to. Anyways, here are some pics. I have not placed some of the corals back yet and I'm not in love with this scape in a 29. Reverse durso is working awesome. My filter socks from my previous sock it fit over the 1 1/2" pvc fitting perfect and cleaned my water great overnight. http://www.flickr.com/photos/chadharwick/11908686813/'>http://www.flickr.com/photos/chadharwick/11908686813/'>IMG_3596 by http://www.flickr.com/people/chadharwick/'>iadubber, on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/chadharwick/11909281556/'>http://www.flickr.com/photos/chadharwick/11909281556/'>IMG_3593 by http://www.flickr.com/people/chadharwick/'>iadubber, on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/chadharwick/11908412645/'>http://www.flickr.com/photos/chadharwick/11908412645/'>IMG_3592 by http://www.flickr.com/people/chadharwick/'>iadubber, on Flickr Link to comment
Travis
If I were you I would try just one return instead of splitting it. The vortech should create ample flow. Link to comment

I'm not worried about flow. The water level is right at the bottom of the top trim so i can see it when the vortech kicks in and waves start. It is just an annoyance. I want to run a BRS reactor off the return line as well so I'll need some extra flow. Link to comment
spazizz
Looks great, it's funny you would have never guessed you had a 20l before. Link to comment

iadubber
Ordered an aqua mag junior and will give that a try on my far wall from the MP10. Might glue my GSP onto it. Link to comment

Arce
How are you liking the mp10 in your 29? Im considering dropping the extra money for a MP-10es over a WP-10. Link to comment
iadubber
Absolutely love it. With the WXM I have it set for noon to 10pm reef crest max 75%, 10pm to 6am constant 50%, and 6am to noon Lagoon Max 75%. Some people hate hearing the revving of the motor, but it's not that bad in my opinion. Link to comment

I think i leaning towards the MP-10 for the functionality but im leaning towards the WP-10 for the cost. I got some time to decide, maybe next pay check ahaha. Link to comment
iadubber
I added my aquamag junior to my left wall and I love it, save for one thing, it is WHITE. I mean the brightest white you could ever imagine. I love the shape and texture it has. I can't wait for it to color up though. I might buy one or two more for the back wall and try some SPS on them. iadubber
I placed the Flaming Suns on the spot I want them and they opened right up. The background singer here, Aptasia, is now gone. IMG_3655 by iadubber, on Flickr I got my BRS reactor yesterday and hooked that up. Still waiting for a mag 9.5 I got on eBay to upgrade my pump. Orangutran
What are you running inside the reactor? Carbon, or GFO as well? Love the new tank! Think you need some height to the 'scape, or if you go with your plan of the aquamags on the back wall it'll fill in the space. Link to comment

I still might add an aquamag or two to the back but don't have intentions of building my current rockwork up. Link to comment

iadubber
Is that aptasia, upper right of picture? KILL IT WITH FIRE! Haha yes! I destroyed it last night and I didn't notice it until I was taking macro pics. I took the rock out and clipped almost all of the frag rock away. Hopefully that took care of it. Link to comment
