Nice gifs!

Thanks, on the one my tripod must have shifted and I need more frames. These were first attempts and only 10 frames at .1 seconds. I'll probably try again with 20-25 frames and tighten my tripod down!

What are you using to make the GIFS? I like them. :)

Picked up a Canon 100mm Macro USM to replace my Tamron 90mm Macro that Glenn bought from me. I really appreciate not having an extending barrel when focusing.

The only colorless SPS I have. Since I've gotten my UV lights going it has seemed to be more pink. I really don't even know what kind of SPS it is. A local guy gave it to me for free.

I got some really great news this week. Nick from BuildMyLed contacted me to test out their newest 20k 3 channel dimming fixture! I don't have a date yet when the prototypes are being built but I get to test one of the first ones and I'm totally excited!

Very cool about the 20K light, I'm thinking of getting one.

A couple of posts ago ... that's a bleached montipora digitata IMO, they tend to do that when changing to brighter light. It may be a German Blue digitata, which would mean you can expect the skin to brown and the polyps to be blue or purple if it likes the conditions. http://www.orafarm.com/products/hardcoral/montipora/german-blue-polyp-digitata/

The top above and the GIF appears to be Bird of Paradise or similar birdsnest.

Aquascaping looks fantastic, especially the floating island. :)

^thanks, hopefully it will color up under my lights.

Just ordered a WP10 to test out. I'm planning on selling my MP10, WXM, and Apex Jr if it works out so I can pay some other bills off.

So much for my praising cobalt heaters. Hopefully they honor their 3 year warranty. I came down to feed my fish and the water was colder than usual. Checked the Apex, which I have never ever gotten to work to email me, and water was 70.2. Luckily I have one 25 watt and one 100 watt backup heater that I have on it now. Hoping everything comes out unscathed. The heater just won't turn on anymore. (Accutherm 200w).

Sucks about the heater mate, I have had the same thing happen to me. I now run 2 heaters, one set at a few degrees lower then the other so both aren't running constantly. Would love to have something like an Apex though.

Sorry about the heater. My two Aqueon Pro heaters, all black plastic, are still going strong. I should really replace both, especially since the one on the 40 is 2 years old now.

Love my apex. Heaters scare me but I keep my house around 74-75 so mine won't drop too low. I think everything will be fine since it wasn't in the cold too long.

even with Apex Fusion on the horizon I just don't have a need for it. I don't have 24/7 broadband either at my house, I just have hotspot that I use so even if the Apex could send me emails I wouldn't get them until I got home and turned on my hotspot. I don't use feed modes I usually just power off my MP10 manually because it's right behind the tank where I'm feeding. I only use it for timers pretty much. So I'll be selling it this week I think after my WP10 arrives. I had some bills come up as well so I need to slim down a bit on this and photography.

Cobalt is sending out a new heater which is good news. Being a basement tank my 100w backup heater is not keeping up well.

WP10 is installed - Overall I'm happy with it. I hoped it would be a little more powerful but seems about the GPH of an MP10 around 70-75%

Sold my apex, wxm and MP10 today.

Nice glad you like it sometime i feel like my wp25 is too big for my tank takes up so much room. I figured that stuff would sell fast.
