Then attempted to cut the top half off to try and save it, but it shattered into pieces so in the garbage it went. Chadf Posted January 11, 2014 Author Share Posted January 11, 2014 How are you acclimating new corals? It's not acclimation, everything I get smells like death and is bleached upon arrival. But I float with lights off for about 20 mins, give or take depending on how much water is in the bag and how freezing the water is. Airline drip about 3 drops per second for about a half hour, diluting the bag 50% 2-3 times. Place in tank with lights out. Only run blue+ for a few hours the first day, then blue+ the full amount after that. Run full daylight 2 hours on day 2, 4 hours on day 3, 6 hours on day 4, full lighting on day 5. Link to comment
