Dave did a great job on my BC29 retro-fit. I could not be happier with how my corals look and I'm getting tremendous growth! And most of my corals are acros!

 

Can't wait to see some pics Bryan!

I have the lights as follows

 

rise @ 08:00

Duration 240

 

white = 25%

blue = 35%

 

set @ 16:00

Duration 240

 

 

Moon 20:00

duration 60

 

blue 1%

 

set 22:00

duration 60

 

 

I will do a little more fine tuning soon, but this is good so far.

nice. i think im gonna redo it sometime. but it works so good lol

 

 

I used a ziptie to attach it to the hanging bracket of a maxi-jet 1200. Allows me to adjust the level of the float if needed, also the loop at the top of the bracket holds the water line which is awesome too.

Will be shopping for a good camera after new years , any suggestions ? I am looking at a Nex 3 that I found a great deal on , but I am a total NEWB when it comes to cameras.

I love my Canon EOS Rebel. I have the T1i/500D which you can find in the $3-400 range on eBay. The stock 18-55 lens is adequate, and you can always save up for a macro lens.

Used part of my $200 in LFS monies that I got for christmas. Here are the new additions , this will cap off my fish for sure since it is added to the tank with my green band.

Hahah!!! I just bought those two for my manta ray 18 not too long ago as well! What a coincidence.
