Water change on Friday to suck up some of the crap in the back.
Everything is bouncing back nicely. I rarely check params. Nitrates and SG mostly.

Only if something looks bad! :)

Bump for pics! Also nice to hear an update on this tank!

V & T! Yes, pics will be coming. I went down this morning and was very happy with my scape re-do. :)

Because I don't think I can go through that again.

Pic of one of my clowns, Chico . . . He's about 1.5 years old.

The other, Dempsey, is larger and she's the same age.

They both were orange when I got them. Now they both have become
almost black on top with a hint of orange on the bottom.

Your source and Vengs must be the same, you both got Mochas masquerading as regular orange clownfish.

And how is the tank looking. 3 days are done. :)

Hi Kat! Tank is so great now! Amazing how you have become the peroxide queen!

Tank is clean, bright and finding a new groove. :) I added a cheap orange and green lobo

on the new found sand space I have! Will try and post a pic soon. W-

What was your source for the Clowns? Mine are from DNA, circa Dec 2011 IIRC. Though yours appear much more orange than mine. Mine really seem to be more red.

Mine were also DNA, circa April/May 2012.

I see what you did there.

Yes, I am going to try them again. Loved the smaller ones I had before.
But right now I'm afraid they'd have not a lot to eat. :D

FTS 8/11/13

All GHA is GONE! Peroxide drip did the trick. (Well, except for a few hermits that have hair algae mohawks). :D
Rescaped, more room on the sand bed to the lower right.

Recent additions:

6 head purple acan from Serenity. Now has 4 new baby heads!
Lobo brain from the cheap bin at DNA.
6 head Duncan fragged from a 15 head colony

Everything else is doing well. Derasa is now 6 months old and going strong.

Not the most colorful of clams, but hey. He's doing well. And the hammer in front

continues to grow.

Thanks V. Gonna try and see if I can whip up a quick photoshop pic of your tank with sand in it. :)
Will try and post later this week.

Post vaca update . . .

Got home and tank looked great. No algae had grown.

Well, except on the glass. An easy wipe down. Sally "Gordon' Lightfoot molted.

Green rock nem decided to take a little walk and ventured out of his hole.
He actually found a better spot. :) Nuclear greens had a few babies . . .

1 vaca casualty, the derasa clam. Had it for 6 months. Always seems there's
something after a vaca. I found a nice new zebra striped derasa to put
the tank back in balance. :)

9/9/13 update

Tank remains basically GHA free. Powerhead, return and glass

get the occasional light dusting of it. Easy to scrape/toothbrush away.

Added a multi-branch 7" Eunice Eco-Gorg. Crazy polyp extension!
Growing and almost fully encrusted over its plug.

Am now on a zoa search, specifically a nice 3x3 zoa rock.

Will post a new FTS when able. W-
