Lawnman Posted July 25, 2014 Share Posted July 25, 2014 My Z's and P's grow like weeds I run a very minimal amount of GFO and no carbon. Only thing I dose is Kent coral accel and vitamin c. My alk is rock solid all the time at 8. I have noticed my polyps look better and grow faster when I am up on my waterchanges. Everything was growing awesome, but now some of the fastest growers are slowly melting. Meanwhile some of my frags just keep getting bigger. My utter chaos went from 1 head to 5 in 3 weeks and now its back to 1 tiny head. I had an issue with my alk, cal, and mg from dosing mg to get rid of bryopsis. Bryopsis is gone, but I stopped dosing afterwards because everything was too high. Kinda wish I had slowly brought my mg up, but oh well. Live and learn. Now everything is back in order, but a couple of my zoas are just hopeless. I'm going to try giving more light when I get home. Have you noticed any changes dosing vitamin C? Quote Link to comment

Vitamin C helps, I am not sure why. So far so good, nothing else has been pissy. My magnesium was high, yours was high. Maybe that is it? 1 Quote Link to comment
