Judging by the colour I would say your skimming dry. If you were skimming wet there would be more, lightly coloured skim. Wet skimming is arguably more efficient but leads to higher fluid loss. Personally I prefer to wet skim currently as my tunze 9004 has a difficult to maintain sweet spot (my ato isn't working). Link to comment

JR, STI, hope you guys enjoy the skimmer, when you need help with setup, pm me.... and fyi, i had to move the skimmer on its rack to the highest setting, otherwise it kept foaming over into the cup on full drain...
